Delray Beach Restaurants

Delray Beach restaurants are as unique, eclectic, and alluring as the many bars, clubs, and cultural hot spots the city has to offer. An overview of Delray Beach points diners in the right direction when looking for the perfect place to eat. There are several areas in which to find great Delray Beach restaurants. Atlantic Avenue offers an impressive number of choices to feast on. Almost anyone with a hankering for a special meal will find it along Atlantic Avenue.

Boston’s on the Beach is a local favorite and most tourists end up finding it by suggestion or obvious popularity. The restaurant and bar serves up a mix of food including steak and seafood, and features a broad spectrum of live music during the evening hours. Around the corner of Swinton and Atlantic, there are several excellent options including appealing al fresco dining and stylish establishments perfect for people-watching. The largest concentration of dining sits along East Atlantic Avenue between North Swinton and Northeast 6th Avenue. Some of the best dishes are available in these parts including Chilean sea bass, lobster salad, and old favorites like burgers, pizza, and wings.

Around the Esplanade Plaza between Northeast 2nd Avenue and Northeast 2nd Street there are also a good array of dining options, but not nearly as abundant as Atlantic Avenue. Here, the selection includes classic Chinese dishes, Mediterranean cuisine, Spanish fare, sushi, and a couple of wine bars. A few streets in from the coast at North Ocean Boulevard around Palm Avenue, several restaurants have sprouted up over the years. Fresh sandwiches, all-day breakfast, pizza shops, and more present solid options for a bite to eat during a break from coastal fun.

Compared to East Atlantic Avenue, the west side seems barren as far as restaurants are concerned, but there are a few to choose between. Types of foods in the west end of the popular strip include fresh deli foods, popular burger joints, Thai cuisine, and some pub-style options. With all the great Delray Beach hotels, checking out some dining options within lodging can be a fruitful epicurean adventure. The grill within the Seagate near Ocean Boulevard is most notable for the stylish, contemporary restaurant and ambitious fare.
