Singer Island is one of the many great destinations that can be found in Southeast Florida. Actually a peninsula and not an island, this oceanfront neighborhood is more specifically situated to the near north of West Palm Beach. It is primarily part of the city of Riviera Beach, though the peninsula’s southern tip is the town of Palm Beach Shores. Miles of sparkling white sand beaches are the showcase attraction here, and there are numerous other beaches in the area for visitors who want to spend a considerable amount of time in the sun. Palm Beach is close by, for example, as is the John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, which has nearly two miles of sand to go with its hiking and biking trails. Other reasons to visit Singer Island in Florida include the diverse shopping opportunities, the healthy collection of tempting restaurants, the area golf courses, and the fine assortment of accommodations.

The Singer Island hotels combine with motels and vacation rentals to provide visitors with a rather complete array of lodging choices. Of course, the best hotels and rental properties enjoy beachfront locations. Such Singer Island hotels include the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa and the Hilton Singer Island Oceanfront/Palm Beaches Resort. The vacation rentals in Singer Island come in the form of homes and condos, and some of the area lodging establishments blend the hotel experience with the vacation rental experience, offering hotel facilities and guest units with kitchen facilities. If your Singer Island hotel or vacation rental isn't right on the beach, you’ll be close to the sand and water anyways. The peninsula isn't very wide, so essentially all of the accommodations are beach accommodations.
