Hawaiian Airport Shuttles

While you can always take a cruise to Hawaii, most visitors choose to arrive by plane. Should you be flying into one of the Hawaii airports, you might require the services of an airport shuttle. The airport shuttles in Hawaii typically come in the form of comfortable, air conditioned vans, though some of the shuttle companies also offer luxury car and limousine service if you are looking to upgrade. You can also rent a car upon arrival at one of the Hawaii airports, but if you're not interested in having a car or if you simply prefer to rent your car later, taking an airport shuttle can be an ideal way to go. The airport shuttles in Hawaii can not only get you from the airport to your hotel, but you can also rely on them to get back to the airport when it comes time to leave.

Oahu Airport Shuttles

If you're wondering where to find airport shuttles in Hawaii, then the island of Oahu is a good place to start your search. Oahu is home to the Honolulu International Airport, which is the largest and busiest airport in the state, and since there are so many resorts and hotels in nearby Waikiki, the shuttle services are fairly complete. While some of the Oahu resorts and hotels offer complimentary shuttle service, others do not, so you can choose accordingly depending on your needs. The Oahu airport shuttles are among the best Hawaiian airport shuttles, as they offer island-wide transportation to get you where you need to go.

Maui Airport Shuttles

Some Maui visitors will rent a car upon arrival at the main airport in Kahului, while others will depend on shuttle service to get them to their next destination. Maui boasts the SpeediShuttle, which is one of the more convenient airport shuttles in Hawaii, at least for those who are staying at one of the resorts in the west coast resorts of Wailea, Kaanapali, and Kapalua. Should you be visiting one of these resorts, you'll also want to consider an interisland flight from Honolulu that lands at the Kapalua-West Maui Airport, as the commute is a mere fifteen minutes. As for the SpeediShuttle from Kahului, it takes about an hour.

Like Oahu, Maui is a good place to look if you are wondering where to find airport shuttles in Hawaii. Should you be interested in staying at the five-star Hotel Hana Maui, which is on the eastern side of the island, shuttle service is available should you make prior arrangements.

Big Island Airport Shuttles

The Big Island is another ideal island to look to if you are wondering where to find airport shuttles in Hawaii. Between the Hilo Airport and the Kona Airport, finding a shuttle to get you to your intended destination won't be difficult. If you please, you can make arrangements with one of the island's shuttle companies before you arrive, or you can arrange for service once you land. Kona is where most Big Island visitors arrive when coming by plane, and since the Kona Coast and the nearby Kohala Coast are where the island's top resorts are, the area shuttle service is more complete than it is in the Hilo area.

Kauai Airport Shuttles

While Kauai is a popular island to visit, it isn't your best bet when it comes to airport shuttles in Hawaii. That is, unless you stay at one of the Kauai resorts that offers shuttle service. It is best to rent a car upon arrival at the Lihue Airport, though you can also arrange for taxi service if you don't want to drive. Taxis can be used to get to your hotel. Some companies also offer tours that highlight top attractions, such as Historic Kilauea Town and Anini Beach.

Lanai Airport Shuttles

The small island of Lanai does boast an airport, and it also boasts two upscale resorts that offer Hawaiian airport shuttles for those who aren't interested in renting a 4x4 vehicle. These two resorts are the Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay and the Four Seasons Lodge at Koele. Shuttle service is available between the resorts as well.

Molokai Airport Shuttles

Molokai might not be the first island that you think of when it comes to airport shuttles in Hawaii, though shuttle service is available if you need it. This service is offered by a local taxi company, which offers comfortable vans that can get you from the airport to the island's top hotels and destinations for a fair fee. You can also book island tours through the local taxi companies, which will help you get a grasp on Molokai. Renting a car is the best way to go if you want to travel around the island, though taxi and shuttle service can get you where you need to go if that's what you prefer.
