The Alekoko Fishponds are one of the best known of Kauai's 65 groups of fishponds. From this 990-foot mullet-raising pond you get a sweeping view of Huleia Stream, the harbor, and majestic mountains in the background. The area is popular because of the many songs and legends about its ancient Hawaiian history.
