Kapaa Hotels

The Kapaa hotels provide visitors with some of the more affordable lodging options on the island, and they also offer a good location. Not only will you be able to access all the attractions on the eastern coast when you stay at one of the hotels in Kapaa, you will also find easy access to both the north and south shores. In addition to hotels, the Kapaa lodging scene also includes a number of vacation rentals to consider as well. For those looking for an upscale Kapaa lodging experience, the Outrigger Waipouli Resort is worth a look. If you have a budget accommodation in Kapaa in mind, the Kauai Sands Hotel might be the best fit. The Kapaa hotels can meet a range of tastes and preferences, which is good news if you have something other than the Outrigger Waipouli or the Kauai Sands in mind.

While none of the hotels in Kapaa is a five-star property, lodging establishments such as the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy provide elevated levels of comfort and convenience. A family-oriented resort, the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy offers spacious studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom condos, all of which feature attractive island decor. There are 108 units in all, and the standard amenities found in each are numerous. They include a private balcony, cable TV, a CD player, free high-speed internet access, air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, a safe, a telephone, voice mail services, a hair dryer, an iron, and a washer and dryer. When you're not enjoying the comfort of your room at the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy, you can relax on the beach, which is just steps away, or pull up a lounge chair next to the attractive swimming pool, which also offers ocean views and an enticing hot tub area. Other overall amenities at this resort include a fitness center, tennis courts, free parking, a fine dining restaurant, a poolside bar, and a 24-hour front desk.
Outrigger Lae Nani Resort

Should Kapaa hotels such as the Outrigger Waipouli Beach and the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy not fit your price range, you can save a little by staying at the Outrigger Lae Nani Resort instead. You might also consider the recently renovated ResortQuest Islander on the Beach, which is a wonderful place to get away. Not only are you close to an ideal stretch of sand when you stay here, but great attractions including Wailua Falls aren't too far away in case you want to explore the area. A charming contemporary island decor characterizes the ResortQuest Islander, and six beautifully landscaped acres are available for you to use when you're not relaxing in your comfortable room or suite. Air-conditioning, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, a private balcony, and attractive island furnishings come standard in the guest units here, and accommodations with an ocean view are available as well. One of the things that makes the ResortQuest Islander one of the better hotels in Kapaa is its proximity to the Coconut Plantation Marketplace, which is a great place to go shopping or find a good restaurant. Back on the resort's grounds guests can take advantage of a swimming pool, barbecue areas, coin-operated laundry facilities, and free parking. High-speed internet access is available for a fee if needed.
Pono Kai Resort

Should you be interested in the resort experience when searching for your ideal Kapaa lodging, but you don't want to pay the rates at the higher-priced establishments, the Pono Kai Resort is worth considering. Situated on twelve acres of beachfront grounds, this discount Kauai resort boasts a fine location, and with amenities such as tennis courts, barbecue areas, shuffleboard courts, and a croquet lawn, you'll get quite a lot for your money. Not only will you be close to a mile-long beach when you stay at the Pono Kai Resort, but you will also be within walking distance of shops and restaurants. There are 217 condo-style units available at the Pono Kai, and while they are relatively basic, you won't be roughing it. You can choose a unit with either one or two bedrooms, and a kitchen or kitchenette, a private balcony, cable TV, and air-conditioning are among the in-room amenities. Internet access is available for a reasonable fee if you are interested. You're also only eight miles from the main Kauai airport when you stay here, which adds to the resort's convenience.
