restaurants, geared mainly to tourists, with wide walkways

is part of the popular Poipu resort area on Kauai's south
shore, a master-planned resort with a wide range of accommodations.
The Center, in one of the island's sunniest areas, is
a relaxing place to shop. The only drawback is for those
having to travel from the North Shore, which is more than
an hour away. The center is near gold-sand beaches, plus
opportunities for golf and tennis.
