The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas is one of the newer resorts
in Kauai, and it's also one of the more luxurious. Located on the north
coast in the Princeville Resort area, the Westin Princeville in Kauai overlooks
scenic Hanalei Bay from
a cliff-top vantage point. It also offers fantastic views of lush mountains
and tropical foliage, creating an inspired setting. Comfort, convenience, and
an ideal location are just some of the things that make the Westin Princeville
Ocean Resort Villas one of the top luxury resorts in Kauai, and while the rates
are relatively high, they are worth every penny.
Should you plan to play
golf on your Kauai vacation and you are staying at the Westin Princeville
Ocean Resort Villas, then you'll be happy to know the resort is located next
to the Princeville Golf Club, which has 45 immaculate golf holes and offers
discounted greens fees to guests at the Westin Princeville in Kauai. When you're
not golfing during your stay at the Westin Princeville, you can engage in a
number of other activities, such as sailing, snorkeling,
and bicycling. During the winter months, surfing and whale
watching are among the top activities. Though the Westin Princeville Ocean
Resort Villas does not offer direct beach access, the area beaches are not hard
to get to, and you'll definitely want to visit more than one.
After a day of hanging out at the beach,
hiking on the Na
Pali Coast, or enjoying other fun things
to do in Kauai, returning to the comfort of your room or suite at the Westin
Princeville is always a treat. Upscale villas await you at the Westin Princeville,
and as is typical of many hotels in Hawaii, each guest unit features a private
lanai, which is a Hawaiian word for a balcony or patio. An array of amenities
come standard in all of the spacious villas here, and they include a flat-screen
television, a DVD player, a stereo, a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette,
premium bedding, a whirlpool tub, and wireless internet access. Outside of the
guest rooms, an attractive plunge pool overlooks the sea, and it's a great place
to enjoy some down time, especially as it features a poolside bar. These aren't
the only amenities, however, which is a why a stay at the Westin Princeville
in Kauai is always a welcome option.
There is a small collection of swimming pools on the lovely grounds at the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas, and the children's pool features a water slide, which is a huge hit with younger guests. Lounge chairs and tables with seating surround the pools at the Westin Princeville Resort, so the pool area is a fantastic place to hang out even if you don't plan on taking a dip in the water. When it's time for a meal, snacks, or drinks at the Westin Princeville in Kauai, the poolside Wailele Bar is just one of the on-site dining establishments you can choose from. Smoothies, alcoholic beverages, meals, and snacks are on offer at the Wailele Bar, but if you just want drinks, the Ke Kai Bar should be more than adequate while you relax by the pool.
While there are plenty of good restaurants in Princeville you will want to visit during your stay at the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas, the resort's main restaurant is not to be overlooked. Open for both breakfast and dinner, the Nanea Restaurant & Bar, much like the resort itself, is not exceedingly luxurious, so while you can expect it to be elegant, you can also expect it to be comfortable. The Princeville Market is nearby as well when it comes to stocking up your refrigerator, and you can save money on groceries and other supplies by shopping in Lihue once you arrive at the airport and pick up your rental car. Renting a car in Kauai is recommended, as the island is small and easy to explore. Attractions such as the Waimea Canyon and Wailua Falls deserve to be included on any Kauai vacation, though it would be understandable if you didn't venture too far from the grounds at the Westin Princeville during your stay.
