Sugar Beach Resort

Sugar Beach Resort
Grand Wailea | Kaanapali Beach Hotel | Marriott Wailea | Westin Resort | Napili Kai | Royal Lahaina Resort | Sheraton Maui Resort | Sugar Beach Resort

Looming palm trees draw their photo-perfect lines across powdery sand. Off shore, muted sea sounds are occasionally interrupted by fountains of water and the familiar signs of whales in the ocean. Tropical drinks bear typical names as the beads condense and dampen your hand. It’s just another day at one of Hawaii’s most popular beachfront condos – the Sugar Beach Resort Maui, which calls the island’s south shore home.

Stretching from North Kihei all the way to Ma’alaea, Sugar Beach Hawaii is one of the chain’s intrinsically beautiful locales - and not just because of the whales playing nearby in the winter months. With the West Maui Mountains cool and shady in the distance and three acres of sandy beach splayed out like a crescent moon, the Sugar Beach Resort Maui is everything you are looking for in a vacation spot. This is the longest beach on the island, so there’s nothing you won’t find on Sugar Beach Hawaii. And every condo boasts a peaceful ocean view, the Pacific stretching to eternity as you look out at the sunsets – between the tropical ambiance and comfortable rooms, the Sugar Beach Resort Maui has it all.

Even with its prime location in Kihei, the resort still provides easy access to some of Maui’s best tourist attractions. The tropical rainforests of the Hana Highway are within driving distance, as are some of Hawaii’s favorite golf courses, including the world famous Kapalua Golf Club.  And if you're unable to get a tee time,  plenty of other fine courses are in the near vicinity to help you get out on the links.

A wide array of popular oceanfront activities are available on Sugar Beach Hawaii, from snorkeling to surfing to gliding. But the area is best known for its delightful collection of boating tours. See Hawaii from the ocean as you set sail into the deep blue waters of the Pacific. Winter brings the humpback whales – packs of them spend the months between November and April swimming beneath Maui’s tropical sun. The boats get as close to these gentle giants as you’ll get anywhere else, before you retire to the resort for a exquisitely cooked meal.

Between the general seclusion, the long walks on the beach, eighteen holes of perfection and the possibility of getting up close and personal with one of nature’s most celebrated mammals, the Sugar Beach Resort has everything in place for the perfect Maui vacation.
