Wailea Hotels

The many Wailea Hotels include some of the most luxurious places to stay that can be found anywhere in Hawaii. Wailea lodging is not a topic for the financially fainthearted; Wailea beach hotels and condos are expensive to say the least. Of course, for the money you pay for hotels in Wailea, you get more than a fair amount back—just think total, all-encompassing splendor, and then set it in paradise among crystal blue ocean waters and golden sands. That, in a nutshell, is what accommodations in Wailea are all about.
Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea
One of the most popular of the Wailea hotels is the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, which represents Four Seasons’ only presence on the island. Sophisticated elegance abounds here, and the hotel has been careful to combine almost-over-the-top extravagance with traditional Hawaiian flavors. The result is a truly inspiring ambience. Take the rooms, for example—while the marble bathrooms may speak of indulgent magnificence, the walls of the bedrooms are adorned with unique work by local artists. Eighty percent of the rooms overlook the ocean, and outside, terraces with wooden decking and chairs and tables offer just about the perfect spot for eating, reading, or relaxing.
Another thing that makes this Wailea lodging option something genuinely special is its spa. Considered one of the best in the US, it offers Hawaiian, Thai, craniosacral, and ayurvedic therapies from its thirteen treatment rooms and three oceanside traditional wooden enclosures. One of the greatest experiences while staying at Wailea beach hotels is enjoying a massage on the beach while listening to the ocean gently roll into land less than ten meters from where you lie.
Wailea Beach Villas

If you’re looking for villa resorts as opposed to conventional Wailea hotels, the Wailea Beach Villas are an amazing complex of stunning, top-notch beachfront properties. Each spacious villa includes a gourmet kitchen fitted with granite surfaces and two fridges (among many other features), and a fully equipped marble bathroom. Lanais (private balconies) are standard and offer uniformly magnificent views across the ocean. The bedrooms here are open and airy, decked out with tastefully indulgent furniture and materials.
One of the great benefits of choosing Wailea Beach Villas as your Wailea lodging is its location. The restaurants just across the road offer some of Maui’s best dining opportunities, while the beach is only a short walk down a landscaped path.
Maui Prince Hotel
The Maui Prince Hotel is another top-of-the-line member of the Wailea beach hotels club. Built around a meditation garden, it’s an elite and private type of place. Other notable hotels in the area include the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa, and the Fairmount Kea Lani Maui. In addition, all are excellent honeymoon hotels, making the most of Maui’s infinitely romantic air.
Wailea is located a drive away from the Maui hotels, meaning you’ll either have to rent a car or use an airport shuttle to get to your hotel having arrived on the island. All inclusive vacation packages often include one or the other in the price – it’s worth hunting around for the right deal before booking to make sure your dollar goes as far as it possible can.
