Hotel LaCroix

When a good room at a good price is what you're looking for in Honolulu, the Hotel LaCroix might prove to be an ideal fit. While the rooms at the Hotel LaCroix are relatively low on frills compared with the Oahu resorts, it's hard to find a better value in the area. Found on the northern end of Waikiki, this well-priced Honolulu hotel offers easy access to Waikiki Beach, among other great attractions, and you'll hardly need to rely on your rental car during your stay, unless you feel like exploring outside of the city. There are 176 guest rooms to choose from at the Hotel LaCroix, and you can expect your accommodations to be both clean and comfortable, which is enough to seal the deal for most budget-minded travelers.
Of the rooms at the Hotel LaCroix, 21 are kitchenette units that offer an elevated level of convenience. There are also six suites here, and they not only provide added space, but also added amenities, such as flat-screen televisions and premium views. Most of the rooms here feature a private balcony, while standard amenities in all the units include air-conditioning, cable TV, high-speed internet access, a radio alarm clock, a coffee maker, a mini-refrigerator, an electronic safe, a telephone, and a hair dryer. You can also request extras such as a crib or an iron if you need them. The decor of the rooms at the Hotel LaCroix leans more toward the basic side, but it is attractive enough to satisfy most travelers, and the soft blue walls and colorful bedspreads give the rooms a lively, comfortable feel.
A continental breakfast is included in the rates at the Hotel LaCroix, and when it comes to choosing what to eat for lunch and dinner, there are plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. There is also an array of stores in the immediate area, so you can easily include a few shopping sprees on the side if you please. As for things to do back at the Hotel LaCroix, you can enjoy a dip in the small outdoor pool or hit the business center to surf the internet or get some work done. You can also treat yourself to a manicure, massage, or facial at the on-site salon.
Hanging around the hotel all day definitely isn't recommended on Honolulu vacations, and when you're looking for fun things to do off-site, sunbathing and surfing at Waikiki Beach are among the top options. Waikiki Beach is only a ten-minute walk away, and that walk will take you through a lovely park. You can also hike to the top of the nearby Diamond Head Crater for an unparalleled view of the city during your stay at the Hotel LaCroix. The hotel enjoys a central location, so getting to all the top Honolulu attractions is a breeze. Should you rent a car with the intent of exploring other parts of Oahu, guest parking is available at a reasonable rate.
