Paradise Cove Luau

Paradise Cove is the stunning former summer home of one of the most prominent Hawaiian families in the island chain. The property comprises 12 acres of beachfront property transformed into a site for one of the best known Oahu luaus on the island called the Paradise Cove Luau. A perfect evening trip from Waikiki, Paradise Cove offers more than just a Hawaiian luau. The comprehensive cultural experience awaiting guests starts with a tasty Mai Tai cocktail and a fresh flower lei.

Guests are free to walk around and explore the sweeping and impressively manicured grounds situated along the idyllic oceanfront. The incredible grounds flanking the calm shoreline and Oahu beaches at Ko Olina are bordered by a raised coral reef and lava rock shelf. The saltwater pool, considered one of the most sacred of the Ka'ahumanu pools, lies on the edge of the coast fringed by an unspoiled sandy beach. The ocean separates the pools with natural reef walls that are filled by ocean waves.

With tickets to the Paradise Cove Luau guests enjoy a number of things to do that include traditional Hawaiian games of chance and skill such as spear throwing, stone rolling and a dart sliding competition. Also offered are tranquil canoe rides and a look at some of the most immaculate Hawaiian gardens on the island. With time to relax guests can enjoy traditional, temporary, Polynesian tattoos, soak up the scenery and mingle with others. Prior to the Hawaiian feast the ceremonial kalua pig is dug up from the underground traditional imu during the Royal Court Procession.

The Hawaii Paradise Cove Luau feast includes a menu of an assortment of salads, poi, lomi lomi salmon, island fish, succulent steamed rice, the kalua roast pig and fried chicken. After the divine feast, guests enjoy sweet desserts of fresh pineapple, coconut and banana cake and hot tea and coffee. With tables set up on the Paradise Cove ground dinner is complete with beautiful panoramas of the surrounding area.

Once the feast is over the excitement begins as the Hawaii Paradise Cove Luau kicks off. Award winning performers amaze and entertain in a show full of unforgettable Polynesian songs and dances. Guests can choose between three Paradise Cove Luau packages all offering great value. Many Honolulu hotels and other Oahu resorts can help arrange tickets for their guests or tickets can be purchased directly from Paradise Cove.

The Basic Luau is the least costly and includes the traditional lei greeting, two drink tickets, arts and crafts Hawaiian games, demonstrations, the imu ceremony and the luau dinner feast. The Royal Alii Service is a step up from the basic Hawaii Paradise Cove luau package. It includes everything in the basic package plus preferred seating for dinner and the luau, complete table service and four drink tickets. With the Deluxe Luau Package the additions added to the second package include a souvenir photo, VIP seating a Paradise Cove mug and six drink tickets. The Hawaii Paradise Cove Luau is offered seven days a week starting at 5:00pm and ending at 9:00pm.

Oahu visitors who want to experience the authentic customs of a Hawaiian Luau should consider the Paradise Cove luau for a premier experience. Anyone planning an Oahu wedding might also consider the Paradise Cove grounds for a special union. The undeniable beauty of the area is unsurpassed and offers a memorable experience for all. With so many exciting extras to enjoy at the Paradise Cove Luau, tickets provide true value for money and a performance a step above other Oahu luaus around the island.
