At Sea Life Park Oahu the Sea Trek, The Underwater Photo Safari features stingrays and sharks circling beneath as visitors descend into the ocean expanse of the Hawaii Reef Aquarium past sea turtles, moray eels and other creatures. Kids love trading a day away from Waikiki Beach for playing pirates aboard the massive pirate ship maze at Pirate Lagoon which also includes fun interactive play areas. Another of the Oahu attractions is the Kolohe Kai Surf Club where sea lions entertain all ages with their hilarious antics.
The Dolphin Academy at the Dolphin Discovery exhibit affords visitors the opportunity to learn about the fascinating world of these deep sea denizens. Sea Life Park Oahu is located southeast of Honolulu at Makapu’u Point and is open seven days a week from 9:30am to 5:00pm. There are snacks and cold drinks available inside and a towel and swimsuit are required for those who want to interact with animals in the water. Some of the featured activities cost extra for guests to enjoy though all of the exhibits are included in the admission price. Some other attractions in Hawaii great for families include a tour of the famous Dole Plantation and an afternoon at the Polynesian Cultural Center where visitors will experience a number of traditional Hawaiian customs, food and shows.
