Suggested Itineraries for Honolulu

Deciding which island to visit and how to spend your time once you are there is an important part of your trip. Whether you choose to visit historic places like Pearl Harbor or snorkel at one of the many beaches, there are plenty of things to do in Hawaii, and creating the perfect Honolulu suggested itineraries is as easy as deciding which attractions suit your travel plans best.

1-3 Days

With only a day or two to spend with your suggested itineraries Honolulu, you will want to be sure and make your way to Waikiki beach. The Kawaiahao Church, Mission Houses Museum, and Iolani Palace are just a few of the stops along a walking tour of the old town. 7+ Days

With a week or more for your Hawaii itinerary in Oahu, you should certainly make stops at the locations listed above. In addition, you may want to stop by Pearl Harbor. Entry is free and often the lines for the memorial are quite long, so you will do best to try and get there early. You will also have time for a day trip to Hanauma Bay, where you can snorkel and check out the near by Sea Life Park. Multiple beaches and lookout points can be found near the bay, as well.

With many days to spend on your Hawaii vacation plan, you will have time to experience every part of Maui. In addition to the activities listed above, you can also take a sunset dinner cruise off the coast of Maui with one of your evenings. Cruises generally make a trip around the island, offering food, libations, and exquisite entertainment as you sail.

Brave travelers may also choose to take a surfing lesson while on the island of Maui. Multiple companies offer lessons for beginners and rentals for the more experienced surfers. Maui is also an excellent place for scuba diving. Diving in the Molokini Crater in particular offers views of multiple species of endemic fish. To reach the Molokini Crater you will need to book a tour with a company in Maui.
