Hawaii Villas

Many Hawaii villas are essentially akin to deluxe condos, while others are more like rental homes. All are generally spacious, feature a lot of convenient amenities, and offer more than one bedroom. Among the standard amenities that you can expect when renting one of the villas in Hawaii are a fully-equipped kitchen, cable TV, a DVD player, a CD player, and a patio or deck. Your villa rental will be well-furnished, and linens and towels will be provided for. Should you book one of the more luxurious Hawaii villa rentals, things like granite counter tops, an Infinity Pool, a hot tub, and stunning ocean views are among some of the added perks that you might expect. Some of the most luxurious Hawaii villas are offered by the state's premier resorts, such as the Four Seasons at Hualalai on the Big Island, so you might look to them when you seek luxury accommodations.
When it comes to the Big Island villa rentals, the Kailua-Kona area boasts the island's widest selection. You will also want to look north to the Kohala Coast, where resorts like the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel offer some of the more inviting Hawaii beach villas. When you're not relaxing on the beach during your stay at one of the villas on the Big Island's west coast, you can prepare a gourmet meal in your fully equipped kitchen, or opt instead to grill out on your private lanai.
In addition to west coast destinations like Waikoloa, those who are interested in Big Island Hawaii villas will also want to consider some of the island's other regions. Villa rentals can be found on the North Coast, and though the options won't be as plentiful, you can also search around Hilo and south towards Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Oahu Villas
When you want more room than your standard hotel room can afford you on the island of Oahu, booking a villa is a good way to go. Oahu offers some excellent Hawaii beach villas for those who want to be close to the water, and you can also book a multi-bedroom abode on the slopes of Diamond Head Crater if you please. The advantage to staying at one of the Oahu villas on the Diamond Head slopes is that you will be but a short walk away from Waikiki and everything that it has to offer.
For those who are interested in Hawaii beach villas, there are plenty of Waikiki condos that offer multiple bedrooms and all the amenities that you could need. On the island's east coast, Kailua and Kaneohe are two destinations that you will want to consider when trying to find your ideal villa rental. Don't forget about the North Shore, where the surfing is epic come the winter months. In and around the town of Haleiwa is a good place to look for North Shore Oahu villas. Perhaps a luxurious villa on Sunset Beach will suit your fancy.
Many Hawaii visitors look to stay at one of the Maui villas, especially when they have spacious and luxurious accommodations in mind. You can find Maui Hawaii villas in all the right spots, such as the Lahaina area, where resort areas like Kaanapali and Kapalua have done well to attract their fair share of visitors in recent years. For those who are interested in the Hawaii beach villas, the north shore destination of Paia is also worth considering. A four-bedroom, beachfront home with a private deck, a swimming pool, and hot tub in Paia is sure to make for an ideal base, especially if you're interested in driving the Hana Highway. Many villas in Hawaii boast things like private pools and hot tubs, which can help to make your escape to paradise even more unforgettable.
As is true of the other Hawaii villas, those that can be found on the island of Kauai offer many advantages over your standard hotel rooms. In addition to added space, you will also enjoy added privacy, especially if your villa stands alone and is not part of a villa complex. That's not to say that the Kauai hotels and resorts aren't attractive lodging options, as there are advantages to them as well. Having multiple restaurants within walking distance of your resort room is a nice convenience.
Two of the best places to look for upscale Kauai villas are Poipu, which can be found on the southern shores, and Princeville, which is on the northern side near Hanalei. Princeville is an excellent golfing destination, while Poipu boasts what is one of the better beaches in Kauai. Speaking of the Kauai beaches, they are some of the finest in the entire state, so it's understandable that many visitors look to the Kauai Hawaii beach villas first.
Lanai Villas
While many Lanai visitors choose to stay at one of the two Fours Seasons resorts, others opt instead to book a villa rental. Lanai may be a small and relatively underdeveloped island, but it still manages to offer some vacation rental properties that you'll do well to keep in mind when looking for villas in Hawaii. Should you want to stay in the heart of Lanai City, which is a charming town, you can rent out the island's top bed and breakfast. The Lanai Plantation Home, which features four bedrooms, moonlights as a villa rental when it's not serving its main role as a bed and breakfast inn. Lanai isn't the best place to search for Hawaii beach villas, but you're just a short drive away from the sand wherever you choose to stay on the island.
