Fort Wayne Indiana

Fort Wayne Indiana is the second largest city in the state of Indiana, second only to the capital city of Indianapolis. It is located in the northeastern corner of the state, not far from Ohio. BBQ Rib Fest is held in mid-June and is a four-day event offering festival-goers tons of BBQ and live music. At the end of June, Fort Wayne hosts Greek Fest, a four-day festival showcasing Greek culture.

There are a few other Fort Wayne events that are held later in the year. July brings the Three Rivers Festival, which is the largest festival in the area. The Three Rivers Festival is a nine-day event that attracts hundreds of thousands of people to Fort Wayne Indiana each year. This huge Indiana event features art fairs, a parade, fireworks, and over 200 events. September also holds a festival: the Johnny Appleseed Festival. This annual festival highlights the history of Johnny Appleseed through crafts, food, and demonstration.

There are a number of other Fort Wayne attractions that draw visitors to this area. Fort Wayne is the home of several museums. The museums include a firefighter museum, a wildlife museum, and a Corvette museum. There is also an African-American museum, an aviation museum, and a museum of art.
