This festival is the host of one of the largest Davenport events: the Bix 7 Race. This race is a seven-mile trek that usually has 15,000 to 20,000 participants. Runners come from around the world to take part in this race, and those who choose to just watch, get to listen to bands all along the way.

Other attractions in Davenport are plentiful too. Davenport is home to over 25 parks and many miles of walking and hiking trails. All of the parks offer things such as picnic areas, play areas, and sports fields, which are a great way to spend a day while on a Davenport vacation. Iowa golf is also big in Davenport, where players can choose from three different golf courses that vary in size and difficulty level. Two of the courses are 18-hole courses, and one is a 9-hole course. A botanical garden and conservatory are also popular attractions in Davenport.
