They include a grazing contest, the Stocker Cattle Show and the Best of Grass and Show. The annual Beer Fest Blues and Barbeque is at the top of all the events. The best of blues and the best of Kansas barbeque takes front and center at this event. Also part of the varied main features of this event is the Ranch Horse Competition, the Ranch Rodeo, a golfing tournament, free hamburger feed, pedal tractor pull, and others!

Kansas City events are some of the most exciting in the entire state. The Country Club Plaza regularly hosts a wide variety of concerts featuring a number of popular, modern day bands. The Crown Center is another exciting spot to head for a number of Kansas City events. Crown Center hosts events like the St Patrick's Day Parade, city walks through the Crossroads Arts District, horse shows, auto shows, basketball championships, and more. Folly Theater presents a number of special Kansas events like ballets and orchestra and jazz concerts happening throughout the year. The Christmas season is a great time to attend concerts in the city. Home and garden shows, Mardi Gras celebrations, art shows, and wine tastings are also included on the city's exciting calender of events.
