Superdome Hotels

Superdome hotels are peppered throughout the city of New Orleans and provide strategic locations from which fans of the hometown Saints can rest up before and after the big games. The Saints have had much to be excited about in recent years as they welcomed home a Super Bowl winner at the end of the 2009 NFL season, spearheaded by their quarterback Drew Brees. There has never been so much electricity in the air for Saints games, and it may just be the perfect time to incorporate a game into your planned itinerary. If you decide to do so, there are plenty of hotels near Superdome New Orleans if you live outside the city or simply want to get away for the night. New Orleans hotels are some of the best in the South, after all.

The Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter is situated right in the center of the central business district at 821 Gravier Street. As with many of the hotels in this area, you will find that you are in a position that puts you just steps away from attractions like the French Quarter. The St. Charles Street Car is just one half block from the hotel and provides easy access to other attractions like the Audubon Zoo, the Louisiana State Musuem, the Aquarium of the Americas, and Harrah’s Casino. This is certainly not one of the Superdome hotels that hold back on amenities. Rather, guests will enjoy a fitness center and swimming pool, a bar/lounge, 24-hour reception, and spacious and comfortable guest rooms and suites.  Staying at this particular hotel puts you in great position to enjoy the vibrant city of New Orleans and is a great starting point for any trip that involves a Saints game.

Le Pavillon Hotel at 833 Poydras Street is one of the most elegant of all the hotels near Superdome New Orleans. The price may reflect this as well, but once you step inside the epicurean confines of the hotel, you will understand what makes this particular accommodation so special. For starters, there is absolutely breathtaking French décor throughout the entirety of the hotel. Perhaps the only thing more impressive than the awe-inspiring interior décor of the hotel is the broad exterior façade that sets the hotel apart from many other accommodations in this part of the city. Although there is a restaurant, bar, pool, and other such amenities on the premises, the real appeal of this hotel is the historic building and gorgeous design.

The Comfort Inn and Suites Downtown at 346 Baronne Street is one of the Superdome hotels located within close range of the stadium where you will not have to spend an arm and a leg to enjoy a good night’s sleep and some nice amenities. This hotel is situated just three blocks from the French Quarter, the Superdome, Harrah’s Casino, and Canal Place. Guests can enjoy free continental breakfast, a bar, fitness room, 24-hour reception, and a welcoming staff that is helpful when it comes to making plans and reservations around the city.

Some other hotels near Superdome New Orleans that you may consider looking into include Homewood Suites by Hilton New Orleans, the Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome (pictured), the Drury Inn and Suites New Orleans, Hotel Le Cirque, and Parc St. Charles Hotel Downtown.
