BWI Airport Hotels
BWI Airport hotels are ideal places to stay for a number of reasons. For air travelers, they can come in handy for a night before or after flight, while any and all travelers are likely to appreciate the friendly rates. Toss in the fact that they offer convenient access to both Baltimore and Washington D.C., and it becomes even more apparent that an airport hotel might be the way to go. Some of the BWI Airport hotels offer more than what you might expect for the price, and since there are a lot of good ones to choose from, you should have little trouble finding a room or suite that fits your needs.
Of all the Baltimore Airport hotels, none is closer to the terminal than the Four Points by Sheraton BWI Airport. In fact, this tasteful, contemporary hotel can be found within the airport facility. As is typical of most airport hotels, the Four Points by Sheraton offers free 24-hour airport shuttle service. The 201 guest units at this excellent airport hotel are attractive, with amenity highlights including flat screen TVs, free high-speed Internet access, signature Four Points beds, coffee makers to help you make that flight, and telephones with voicemail. Mini refrigerators are available for an added fee, as is room service, and larger suites can be booked if you need extra space. Complementing the fabulous guest units are two ballrooms, various meeting rooms, a seasonal outdoor pool, a fitness room, and a business center.
When comfort and amenities are what you have in mind, the BWI Airport Marriott is one of the other Baltimore Airport hotels worth considering. Found next to the airport, this attractive hotel is convenient to both the terminal and the Light Rail should you want to venture downtown. You might be tempted to stay in your room or suite for the entire day, however, thanks to the elegant decor and the impressive amenities. Plug In Panels that connect MP3 players, laptops, and other high-tech devices to the flat-screen TVs are among the standard in-room amenities, and high-speed Internet access is available for a fee. Pillowtop mattresses encourage a good night's sleep, and you'll also have a cozy sitting chair, a desk with a chair, and premium cable at your disposal. Additionally, there is more than 18,000 square feet of meeting space, a special lounge for club level guests, a heated indoor pool, a fitness center, a seafood restaurant, and a sports bar should you want to enjoy a little nightlife before turning in.
There are a handful of BWI Airport hotels that offer lodging experiences that are similar to what you can expect at the Sheraton International and the BWI Airport Marriott (pictured). One of the best is the Hilton Baltimore BWI. As is true at most Hilton hotels, tasteful rooms and suites that are all about comfort and convenience are what you will find at the Hilton Baltimore BWI. Flat-screen TVs, dual-line telephones, and mini bars are just some of the standard in-room amenities. Room service is available should you fancy dining in, though you might prefer heading to the stylish onsite restaurant. Complementing the restaurant are a chic bar and a convenient lobby café where you can fuel up before heading to the Inner Harbor for a day of sightseeing.
While these airport hotels are inviting for many different reasons, those who prefer spending a little less might prefer hotels like the Holiday Inn Express-BWI Airport West, which features attractive rooms with good amenities. Free shuttle service is available for the seven-minute commute from the airport, and should you rent a car and drive downtown, it only takes about twenty minutes to get to attractions such as Oriole Park and the Port Discovery Children's Museum. On the even cheaper side of things, anyone who is interested in discount Baltimore Airport accommodations might prefer the Comfort Inn or the Sleep Inn & Suites.
Both the Comfort Inn Airport and the Sleep Inn & Suites Airport offer free deluxe breakfasts, complimentary high-speed Internet access, and 24-hour business centers. While the guest units aren't the most luxurious at these discount Baltimore Airport accommodations, the in-room amenities certainly aren't lacking. These amenities include all the convenient items, such as hair dryers and irons, as well as some welcoming added perks, such as cable TV, video game systems, and safes that can be used to store valuables while you're out enjoying Baltimore attractions such as the Fort McHenry Monument. The Comfort Inn Airport and the Sleep Inn & Suites Airport are within steps of each other, and close by is a restaurant and pub.
Other discount Baltimore Airport accommodations are available should these hotels be full, and you might try to get a good deal at any and all of the airport hotels via a vacation package. Some of the Baltimore Airport hotels offer specials of their own from time to time as well.
