Cape Cod Motels

The Cape Cod motels have long provided visitors to the island with some very enticing options for places to stay. Of course, one of the best things about these discount lodging establishments is their price, and it's good to know that they can be found all over the island. This allows Cape Cod travelers to find an affordable lodging base within their specific region of choice.
Whether you are talking about Cape Cod motels, the island's cheap hotels, or its romantic inns, the SeaCoast Inn deserves special mention. One of the best hotels on the island, the SeaCoast is essentially a mix between a motel, a cheap hotel, and an inn. The rooms, while lacking a little in decor and frills, are both clean and comfortable and offer most everything that the average traveler should want or need. Standard amenities include cable TV, heating, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. Also included in the rates are continental breakfasts, and guests have the opportunity to take advantage of special Cape Cod dining and ferry discounts. 33 Ocean Street is where you will find this popular Hyannis retreat, and since rooms go fast, booking well in advance is recommended.
Another relatively cheap Cape Cod lodging that visitors might take special interest in is the Eagle Wing Guest Motel. Found at 960 Route 6 in Eastham, this motel is close to the Cape Cod National Seashore, which features some amazingly pristine Atlantic Ocean beaches. Guests can also check out the area lighthouses and access hiking and biking trails when they're not relaxing in their rooms or enjoying the motel's general amenities. There are nineteen total rooms at the Eagle Wing Guest Motel, and as is true at the very best lodging establishments around the island, they are all nonsmoking. Both a tub and shower can be found in the private bathrooms, and other perks include cable TV, air conditioning, heating, high-speed internet access, and hair dryers. The general motel amenities include an outdoor pool and a fitness center. Continental breakfasts are included in the rates.
Situated on Route 6A in East Sandwich is the Earl of Sandwich Motel (pictured). One of the very best cheap Cape Cod lodging establishments, this motel has plenty of charm, but that doesn't mean that guests don't enjoy modern conveniences. Wi-Fi is available in the guest rooms, for instance, and those without personal computers can use the guest computer in the lobby. Four-poster beds are found in many of the 24 rooms, and the place has more of a bed and breakfast feel than that of a motel when it comes down to it. As is the case at many a Cape Cod motel, cable TV, air conditioning, heating, and a private bathroom join free Wi-Fi on the amenity list. Mini-fridges also come standard, and continental breakfasts don't cost extra. A small outdoor pool awaits guests in the warmer season, and it's not far to some sandy beaches.
If these three motels on Cape Cod are fully booked, or you just want to stay closer to Provincetown, then the Cape View Motel at 364 Route 6 in North Truro is worth considering. Great views of Cape Cod Bay and Provincetown in the very near distance can be enjoyed from this motel's bluff top location, and it's hard to argue with the comfort and amenities in the guestrooms. Some of the rooms are efficiencies that feature kitchen facilities, and they can help guests keep on top of dining costs. Nearby beaches provide great places to swim, and the motel boasts its own outdoor pool.
For those Cape Cod visitors who don't mind spending more on their motel accommodations, the Hawthorne Motel in Chatham might just be the best motel on the island. Found at 196 Shore Road, it enjoys a wonderful waterfront location. Just five minutes away by foot is the lovely Chatham village center, and the residential environs lend to the tranquil appeal. A private beach is among the main highlights when it comes to the Hawthorne Motel, and the clean and comfortable rooms have full baths, cozy furnishings, cable TV, and other welcoming amenities. A two-bedroom cottage rental is available for guests who might be interested, and some of the guest units have kitchen facilities.
