Cape Cod Resorts

The Cape Cod resorts offer something to fit a wide range of tastes and budgets, and you can find them in many different spots around the island. Some of the Cape Cod resorts feature several room categories in order to cater to a variety of preferences, and as you might expect in a popular summer vacation destination, many are found along the beaches.
One of the very best resorts on Cape Cod Island is the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. Situated just north of Chatham on Pleasant Bay, this premier lodging establishment boasts a wonderful location. Found next door is the highly-acclaimed Cape Cod National Golf Club, and it doesn't take long to get to any number of great beaches, including Outer Beach in the Cape Cod National Seashore. On the bay, water sports activities such as kayaking and sailing can be enjoyed, and for those who might be enjoying a Cape Cod wedding or any other kind of romantic escape, arranging a sunset cruise won't be difficult. Sumptuous rooms and suites only add to the allure of the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, as do the lovely cottage rentals.
Checking out the Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club (pictured) is encouraged when a stay at one of the Cape Cod beach resorts is what you have in mind. Also luxurious, this retreat at 2907 Main Street in Brewster offers a private beach for some of its guests, and all guests can request special Brewster beach passes in advance. These beach passes allow holders to access at least six great area beaches, not to mention two freshwater ponds. On the golfing side of things, the Ocean Edge Resort offers Cape Cod's only Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, and regardless of activity preferences, getting something to eat or drink in between is made easy by the splendid restaurants and bars. As is true of many Cape Cod luxury hotels, room service is available at the Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club for those times when dining in is more preferable. A summer kids' camp helps to make this a great choice for Cape Cod family resorts, and regardless of age, there is plenty to do on the 429-acre grounds.
One of the Cape Cod resorts that offers lodging to fit a range of tastes and budgets is the Cape Codder Resort & Spa in Hyannis. Situated at 1225 Lyanough Road, the Cape Codder is close to a lot of great attractions, such as Veterans Beach and the Kennedy Compound, and kids are sure to have a blast at the indoor wave pool. The wave pool area is actually like a small water park, as it also features slides, waterfalls, dancing fountains, and a large communal whirlpool. Other facilities at the Cape Codder Resort include a full-service spa, three restaurants, and a gift shop, and some guest units feature hot tubs and/or full kitchens.
A number of Cape Cod resorts offer relatively low rates, so it isn't necessary to spend a lot to enjoy the resort experience during your vacation. One such example is the Bayside Resort Hotel, which overlooks Lewis Bay in West Yarmouth. Both indoor and outdoor pools await at this high-value resort, as do saunas, a family fun center, a fitness center, and an outdoor cabana bar. In the guest units, standard amenity highlights include free Wi-Fi, a coffee maker, cable TV, a mini fridge, a hair dryer, and an iron, and it should be mentioned that free breakfasts are part of the deal. 225 Route 28 is the address for the Bayside Resort Hotel. Close by is Hyannis Harbor, which is a fine place to arrange things such as boat tours and trips to Nantucket, and those who are flying to the island might appreciate the fact that the main airport is only about a mile or so away.
Also offering plenty of value when it comes to the Cape Cod resorts are the Capewind Waterfront Resort in Falmouth and the Top Mast Resort in North Truro. As is true of the island resorts in general, these budget-friendly retreats are full during the peak summer season, so securing a stay well in advance is recommended. In fact, Cape Cod summer visitors who don't make reservations in advance aren't likely to find any available hotels or vacation rentals, and you can be that the campgrounds fill up fast as well.
