Oak Bluffs Hotels

The Oak Bluffs hotels are some of the most popular hotels on the island of Martha's Vineyard. This has a lot to do with the fact they offer variety and convenience. Few towns on the island are home to more hotels. As far as convenience is concerned, Oak Bluffs has everything a Martha's Vineyard tourist could need, including a ferry port and some enticing restaurants. The best Oak Bluffs accommodations are within walking distance of the main attractions and tourist resources, and since they fill up fast during the peak season; booking well in advance is the best route to take. Should the Oak Bluffs hotels be full when you go to book your stay, you might turn to the town's vacation rentals. They include both condos and homes.

The majority of the Oaks Bluffs hotels are inns that pride themselves on comfort and service. Such is the case with Isabelle's Beach House. Found across the street from Oaks Bluffs Beach at 83 Seaview Avenue, this eleven-unit inn is great for beach lovers. A stroll is all that is required to get you to the harbor or the town center, and there is a bus stop out front. The decor in the Isabelle's Beach House rooms is quaint and charming, and standard amenities include free Internet access, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, heating, a mini fridge, and a hair dryer. Irons and ironing boards can be requested. Included in the Isabelle's Beach House rates is a continental breakfast, which is just one more reason to keep this place in mind.

If staying in the heart of it all is your main aim during an Oak Bluffs visit, then you can hardly top the Oak Bluffs Inn (pictured). This inviting inn can be found at 64 Circuit Avenue, and the sand is just a five minute walk away. There are ten total guest units at the Oak Bluffs Inn, and they all exhibit elegant country charm. Luxury linens and upscale toiletries are among the amenities in the rooms, and guests can also take advantage of free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Other amenities include a private bathroom with a hair dryer and special white noise machines that can help you relax. Some of the rooms at this delightful inn are larger than others, and should you desire added space and a kitchenette, then the apartment unit will likely be the best overall fit. A continental breakfast and afternoon refreshments are included in the Oak Bluffs Inn rates, and guests won't have to pay extra for beach chairs, beach towels, or even cooler rentals.

When combining comfort with value is what you have in mind during your Oak Bluffs lodging search, you might focus on the Dockside Inn. Found near the harbor at 9 Circuit Avenue, this 22-unit hotel is close to everything, and while its rooms and suites are well-equipped, they are competitively priced. The more standard rooms are the cheapest, and they have most of the same amenities as the larger units. Perhaps the only thing missing in the rooms are kitchenettes. Common amenities in the rooms and suites include private bathrooms, hair dryers, telephones, and cable TV. As is typical of most Martha's Vineyard hotels, a continental breakfast is included in the rates, and it doesn't cost extra to borrow some beach chairs and beach towels. Facility highlights at the Dockside Inn include a guest computer with Internet access and a six-person hot tub.

Martha's Vineyard isn't exactly known for its cheap hotels, though there are some budget-friendly lodging establishments to choose from. One of the best is the Martha's Vineyard Surfside Motel. Situated at 7 Oak Bluff Avenue, this motel overlooks Nantucket Sound and is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the bustling harbor. Pets are welcome, and each guest unit has a phone, a color TV with cable, air conditioning, a mini fridge, and a private bathroom. Some rooms also feature microwaves and jetted tubs, and larger two-room suites with wet bars, coffee makers, and microwaves are available. All the rooms and suites are non-smoking and have free Wi-Fi. Outside of the rooms and suites, guests at the Surfside Motel will find a restaurant that specializes in Asian Fusion cuisine and a lovely courtyard with a barbecue grill and seating.
