Since Nantucket is a thriving island destination accommodating thousands of visitors year after year, the option for Nantucket hotels and other accommodations do run the gamut. There are several different and distinct areas that comprise Nantucket Island. Some areas pretty much only offer vacation rentals offered by private home owners or property management companies while others, which tend to be the more concentrated areas, have an assorted menu of Nantucket hotels and accommodations available for guests. One thing is for certain and can’t be stressed enough, book ahead of time, especially in the summer months of June, July and August!


The Beachside at Nantucket is one of the many Nantucket hotels that are located in the residential Brand Point neighborhood. It’s just a 5 minute drive from Jetties Beach and a relaxing 12 minute walk to Main Street. The Beachside at Nantucket has 90 guest rooms, and 3 two bedroom suites. There are also a few pet friendly rooms available. This Nantucket hotels amenities include air conditioning, private bath, small fridge, cable TV and wireless internet. Some rooms include a private veranda and there is an outdoor pool amidst the well-kept outdoor area. Continental breakfast is included in the room rate and there are packages available that include transportation to and from the island.


When looking for a cheap hotel Nantucket island isn’t necessarily the best place but it’s certainly not impossible to find one. Often when looking for a cheap hotel Nantucket rooms can be paired with air travel, car rentals and sometimes even dining to create a whole vacation package and bring the rates. Finding the cheapest rates on Nantucket can be a bit of a task. For a cheap hotel Nantucket does have a few good options for those on a budget.


The cheapest time to visit Nantucket is spring and fall. Most going rates in spring and fall start around $125 to $150 based on double occupancy. If you’re traveling alone it’s possible to find single rates from roughly $85 and up in the same season. When looking for a cheap hotel Nantucket can accommodate although  low rates can be easier to find if you’re willing to stay farther from the prime locations. The better the dining and the shopping in the area usually means hotel rates will be higher as well. Try travel packages and travel out of peak season for the best rates. Always confirm rates before booking.


On the opposite end of things, when looking for a Nantucket luxury hotel the good news is they’re not hard to find at all! Bostonians will take a jaunt across the water too and opt for one of the hotels on Nantucket, and reservations in the summer are fought for!
