Nantucket beaches are undeniably some of the biggest draws to this popular vacation destination off the southeastern coast of Massachusetts. Although Nantucket Island was at one time primarily a warm weather destination, more people are visiting during spring and autumn. Events during the Nantucket Noel Season like the Christmas Stroll Weekend have also brought a steadily increasing number of tourists during the holiday season. But the fact remains that the best time to travel to Nantucket Island is the summer, especially if you are interested in taking full advantage of all the activities available on the beach and in the water. The best Nantucket Island beaches are distributed throughout the island. Places like Jetties Beach, Brant Point, and Madaket have been popular vacation spots for travelers for years.
