It features most of the same amenities and has a good location relative to downtown. It also offers complimentary continental breakfasts, which the Days Inn seems not too, and is something to consider if that is important to you.

A good choice for hotels in Grand Rapids Michigan that is close to the airport is the AmeriSuites Grand Rapids. It has good reviews online and offers a lot of bang for your buck, starting at about $65 for a standard room. It is located just 4 miles from the airport and enjoys shuttle service to and from, and is just 5 miles from the Frederick Meijer Gardens. Amenities include, a heated pool, a basketball court, laundry room, a fitness room, and a complimentary breakfast buffet. The staff here is reputed for their friendly and helpful service.

From Grand Rapids hotels, you can leave your stuff behind and grab just your golf bag to hit one of the surrounding courses for some beautiful Michigan golf. Try the Grand Rapids Golf Club, a 27 hole championship course with rolling terrain, tree lined fairways, lakes and wetlands. Or head just west to Holland or Muskegon for Lake Michigan and some nice Michigan beaches.
