Metrodome Hotels

Metrodome hotels are not difficult to find in Minneapolis, as there are plenty in and around the city core. It is a domed stadium that is one of the older venues in the National Football League. The Metrodome’s proper name is the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome and is home to the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings. It was used by the Minnesota Golden Gophers' football team before TCF Bank Stadium was built, and it was also the home of Major League Baseball’s Minnesota Twins until 2009. (They now play at Target Field.) There are plenty of hotels near the Metrodome Minneapolis that cater to a variety of budgets.

The Holiday Inn Metrodome (pictured) is one of the options for affordable yet nice accommodations within very close range of the stadium. It is located at 1500 Washington Avenue South just minutes away from many of the city’s most popular attractions including the Guthrie Theater, Target Field, and of course, the Metrodome. This particular Holiday Inn is actually one of the premiere Metrodome hotels, featuring a wide variety of pleasing amenities and thoughtfully appointed guest accommodations. You will not want for anything when staying at this hotel, which is situated just blocks from the stadium. You can actually see the Metrodome from many of the rooms’ windows. Several of the property amenities at this hotel include a fully equipped health and fitness center, a sprawling indoor pool with stunning, panoramic views of the city, onsite dining and lounge, and free shuttle service to the Metrodome Light Rail Station, a point from which you can access many of the most popular areas and attractions in the city.
