In case of an emergency both Horn Island and East Ship Island have ranger stations which function throughout the year.
Another beautiful spot for camping in Mississippi is
the well developed Big Biloxi Campground situated along
the banks of the Big Biloxi River. All 25 campsites have
electric hookups and water. Other amenities include a
bathhouse with showers, a dump station, nature trails
and a pavilion and picnic area. The campground can easily
be reached from Gulfport but
note that no reservations are accepted so arrive early!

to campers from sunrise to sunset and gates open at 6:00am.
