Marvel Cave is the deepest cave in Missouri, and it also happens to be right in the middle of the popular theme park in Branson, Silver Dollar City. This limestone cave has many beautiful mineral deposits and unique rock formations, most of which are still healthy and growing. The climb down into Marvel Cave Branson MO takes place on numerous ramps and staircases, and with more than 600 steps, visitors will want to make sure they have proper walking shoes. Visitors to Marvel Cave will venture 500 feet below the surface of the earth, and encounter huge and majestic caverns like the Cathedral Room, the largest cave entrance room in the US, as opposed to entry from above ground.

Guided tours of Marvel Cave Branson MO leave every half hour, with the guides providing valuable information and historical details about the cave. It takes about an hour to visit the cave, and a cable-car is available to take you back up to the surface. For an extra fee, you can join a Lantern Tour, a unique historical tour available once per day, where visitors are able to visit the cave by lantern-light, just like the original cave explorers. Costumed interpreters will take you on a journey back in time on this nostalgic historical cave tour. It's a great addition to the many rides and shows at Silver Dollar City.
