General Information:
Las Vegas is the “Entertainment Capital of the
World”, and so it seems fit to bring a previously
successful entertainment venture to Sin City. That
is just what rap mogul Jay Z and his partner, Juan Perez,
are banking on with the introduction of the 4040 Club.
Modeled off of the pair’s tried and true 40 40 Clubs
in New York City and Atlantic
City, the 40 40 Las Vegas might be the most opulent
and extravagant of the group. In case you are wondering
about the name, the 4040 Club is named for Major League
Baseball’s very exclusive 40 40 Club, which is reserved
for those players who have hit at least 40 home runs and
stolen 40 bases during a regular season.
No less than 85 plasma televisions will be offered at
the 40 40 Nightclub, so you can catch the big game, and
on top of the main area, the 40 40 Club Jay Z is bringing
to the Vegas Strip will feature 5 VIP rooms. There
will be 5 bars spread about the club, and at 40 feet tall,
they will each serve both of the main area levels.
There will also be an open-air terrace, which has its
own 3,000 square foot bar, as well as a lounge area.
The New York 40 40 Club is a popular hangout for not only
the casual fans, but also for celebrities and athletes,
and the 40 40 Club Las Vegas should be the same.
The 40 40 Club Las Vegas will figure among the most hip
and trendy Las Vegas sports bar when it opens on December
30, 2007. After all, there probably aren’t
many, if any, other Vegas sports bars or clubs with 24-karat
gold and platinum floors. The 40 40 Las Vegas Club
has intriguing food and drink menus, and a replete cigar
menu. There is no cover charge for the 4040 Club.
VIP Information and Events:
The 4040 Club Las Vegas has 5 separate VIP Rooms which can accommodate from 70 up to 150 guests each. They are all equipped with leather seating areas, large plasma televisions and independent sound systems. Private VIP servers attend to your guests’ needs in all of the VIP Rooms. The 40 40 Las Vegas club has monthly events where live DJ’s are featured and it will be one of the prime spots to celebrate the New Years in Las Vegas
