Las Vegas Car Rentals

If you have any interest whatsoever in exploring the outskirts of the city, you may want to look into the possibility of Las Vegas car rentals. A Las Vegas rental car provides you with the freedom and mobility to explore different places at the time of your choice and at your own leisurely pace. If you decide that you would enjoy an excursion outside of the city, you will not find yourself restricted by the rigid itineraries of an organized bus tour. Additionally, most of the casinos have either free valet parking or convenient covered parking garages, so parking your Las Vegas rental car is not a problem. Fortunately, there are a number of traditional and independent companies that offer car rentals in Las Vegas. Some of these are only located at the McCarran Las Vegas Airport. However there are a number of Las Vegas car rentals in the city itself.
Fox Car Rental Las Vegas
Fox is an independent Las Vegas rental car company that is located at the McCarran Las Vegas Airport. Since they are not a franchise, they do not have to pay a franchise fee, and are therefore able to offer car rentals in Las Vegas at a reasonable rate. They have a range of smaller, economy cars, as well as some full sized cars in their fleet.

Finding Discount Car Rentals in Las Vegas
If you want to save some money, the smaller, independent Las Vegas car rental companies may be a good idea. Also, keep in mind that certain professional organizations, as well hotel, credit card and frequent flyer affiliate programs may also offer a decent price for a Las Vegas rental car.
There are a number of ways to find an inexpensive Las Vegas rental car. Your first step is to contact the local branch of a Las Vegas rental car agency. In many cases, the agency’s toll-free operator will quote a higher rate than the local branch. If there is any chance that you may use your Las Vegas rental car for less than seven days, be careful about choosing the weekly rate. If you return the car in less than seven days, the rate will revert to the higher daily rate. When you return your Las Vegas rental car, be sure that it has a full tank of gas. Refueling rates can be exorbitant. Also, if you already have personal auto insurance, or if you are renting with a major credit card, you do not need to spend extra money for rental insurance.
