deals. And depending on what you consider inexpensive,
you have a lot of choices when it comes to cheap hotels
in Las Vegas.

strip the cheaper the hotels get. With the exception of
the Palms or Hard Rock Casino, everyone knows the place
to be is the Las Vegas strip.
Still, if you came over to Vegas for a business trip or
to play some golf, you

The biggest collection of cheap Las Vegas hotels is
located in the downtown area. Like most hotels not located
on the strip, the downtown
hotels are designed for middle-class travelers that
are not impressed by the glittering lights of the strip,
young budget travelers and those that are serious about
gambling. A large percentage of all three of these demographics
head to Binions Las Vegas, where the brick walls tell
nothing of the fabled poker gods that once played there.
The Fremont hotel is another one of the most popular cheap
Las Vegas hotels located downtown, due to the famed Fremont
Street Experience, one of the top

Not only are they a great value, they are conveniently
near a lot of the more exclusive hotels, too. The Monte
Carlo also offers considerable discounts on rooms.
The key is to reserve them for weeknights or in the early
months of the year - January and February are the
best months to find cheap Vegas hotels.
The northern side has an even more diverse selection
of cheap hotels in Las Vegas. Although they have to compete
with the Wynn and the upcoming Resorts World, the northern
edge of the strip has often stayed more with the values
of old Vegas, coming closer to the no-frills atmosphere
in comparison with the rest of the street. Circus
Riviera and the Stratosphere all have extremely low rates, and grant you a location
convenient to both the famed reaches of the strip while
remaining only a short cab ride away from downtown. The Sahara is the class of this small
area of the city, plus you can get discounted tickets
to the Amazing
Jonathan magic show.
The Imperial Palace and the Flamingo are surprisingly
cheap Vegas hotels, considering they are across the street
from the Mirage and Caesars,
and both offer some of the cheap deals in all of Vegas.
Especially the Imperial Palace, though you have to put
up with the casino's off-putting décor and
strange layout. But for the low, low price for a room
here, it's well worth it.
