Miami's South Beach is one of the top party destinations in all of North America. Outside of New York City, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, South Beach is well known for its sunswept days and decadent nights, and anyone who's been there knows the reputation is well-deserved. And one of the spots that started it all was the Delano Hotel. The symbol of urbane nightlife and a hotspot for the rich and famous, the Delano Hotel is a perfect example of contemporary architecture, combining sophistication and affluence with the implied debauchery of South Beach. It's easy to see how the energy of South Beach fits in perfectly in its new desert locale - and though the Delano Hotel in Las Vegas has a lot to live up to, this is, after all, the Strip. Everything is bigger and better and brighter here, and as a part of the Echelon Resorts, this motif will be stretched to the limit.
And the Delano Hotel Las Vegas will be more than just a transplant, a clone of the property in Miami. The Sin City property will build upon the established reputation of the original. The Delano Hotel in Las Vegas will faithfully target the same demographic - the young, rich and beautiful contingent of society. This hotel is designed for those that expect the most out of their stay, from giant rooms, to expensive dinners to nonstop action. Of course, the Delano Hotel Las Vegas will certainly trump its predecessor in this arena - the ability to gamble will single-handedly take care of that. The atmosphere here will have to be experienced to be believed.
The Delano Hotel Las Vegas will undoubtedly feature one of the city's top emerging nightclubs, though the exact name and nature of it has yet to be released to the public. Like the Shangri La, Delano will offer a complete spa - the Agua Spa (technically adjacent to the Mondrian, also). But while the Shangri La Hotel tries to infuse tranquility into every aspect of its property, the Las Vegas Delano has little use for serenity - this hotel is about the exact opposite.
Another draw of the Delano Hotel in Las Vegas is the heavily anticipated Asia de Cuba restaurant. The private pool and the fitness center are purported to be top of the line, even by Vegas standards - further attempts to bring in prosperous young folk to the Las Vegas Delano.
