Artists Biography:
Donny and Marie Osmond shot to fame in 1976 when they began hosting their wildly acclaimed variety program, “The Donny and Marie Show”. While they made television history as the youngest hosts of a series, the brother and sister performers had already been in front of audiences for years. Donny started singing with The Osmond Brothers when he was only five-years-old and Marie toddled out on the Andy Williams Show when she was only three. Her first hit “Paper Roses” debuted in the prime #1 spot of the Country and Western charts when the she was only a teenager.
After the success of their variety show, Donny and Marie Osmond went on to forge illustrious careers of their own. Donny has made over 50 albums and has starred in several musicals including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as well as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. He’s stretched his acting talents yet again, most recently starring in Disney’s College Road Trip with Martin Lawrence and Raven Symone. For her part, Marie Osmond brought her acting talents to both small screen and Broadway, she become a best-selling author, launched a collection of fine porcelain dolls and delighted fans when she made it to the finals of the popular show Dancing with the Stars.
