Hard Rock Lobby

Perhaps more than any other hotel on the Strip, the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas sports one of the loudest and most colorful lobbies. The moment visitors enter the lobby of the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas, they are greeted by rock music, colorful décor, and of course all of the gaming that pays the Hard Rock Hotels bills. Being catapulted into the fun of Vegas may not be such a bad thing, however, and the enveloping nature of this unique lobby is well worth visiting.

The lobby at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is actually adjacent to the popular Center Bar which is the heart of drinking and gambling at the hotel. The lobby is also the place to check in, of course, and most visitors find that lines for checking in are never long. Check-in begins at 3pm each day, and check-out is at noon each day. When checking in, note that Hard Rock hotels accept all major credit cards, as well as cash, however the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas does require a security deposit when checking in, and this is usually done easiest with a credit card.

The hotel does offer concierge service. The concierge desk is a good place to go if you have questions about setting up a special site-seeing trip to check out the Fremont Street Lights or other area attractions. The concierge desk is also the best place to head with any questions about where to eat and things to do in Las Vegas. The desk is located right in the main lobby, and there is a concierge on duty from 8am until 5pm, as well as an evening concierge.

The Hard Rock lobby is also close to the Hard Rock Café Vegas, which is convenient for travelers who might want to grab a snack or drink upon arrival. The lobby actually bleeds into the Hard Rock Café Vegas, and both areas are covered in rock memorabilia from music days gone by. Guitars, costumes and other items from famous shows and artists cover the walls, while famous rock music plays throughout the lobby and the café. Along with the music memorabilia, there are also a couple of tributes set up to artists who have passed away, including Kurt Cobain and others.

The Hard Rock Café Vegas is also the place to go if you want to do any race and sports book betting. This is yet another way that the lobby of the Hard Rock hotels draws guests almost immediately into the gaming at the hotel, and for most travelers who come to Las Vegas to party, it is an asset.
