Harmon Hotel

On August 15, 2011 MGM announced plans to implode Harmon. Aria, Vdara, Veer Towers, and all the other City Center properties are still open.

When the MGM City Center is completed in 2010, it will be a most impressive complex with a privileged Vegas Strip location. Quite a bit has been done since the project got off the ground in 2006, and its progress is going along nicely. The MGM City Center will have a resort and casino as its focal point, and more than 500,000 square feet of entertainment, dining, and shopping venues. With the Bellagio Hotel on one side, the Monte Carlo on the other and the Vegas Strip laid out in front of you, it's easy to think that residences at this hot Vegas address will go pretty fast. The original plans for condo units in addition to the hotel rooms were canceled in 2009, but even without the condominiums, the Harmon MGM City Center Hotel will undoubtedly be one of the most coveted addresses on the Vegas Strip. It’s all about style and luxury at the Harmon Hotel, and it will ultimately keep with the high standards of luxury at the City Center, also home to the Veer Towers, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and the Vdara Condo Hotel.

The Harmon Las Vegas Hotel promises to be a hip and exemplary architectural offering, and the designers at Foster and Partners hope to present a collection of residences that will retain their uniqueness while sharing an overall like appeal. Attention to detail is what you will find at the Harmon Condo Hotel, and you can be sure that it will be sparkling, both inside and out. The stylish Harmon Hotel will provide its guests with a high level of service and a list of amenities that you would expect at a higher-end property. Rising from the corner of Harmon and the Las Vegas Strip, one can imagine the views from each unit should be spectacular, especially once the City Center is complete.

If views are something you cherish, you might picture yourself gazing down on the Vegas Strip from 100 feet up. The Harmon MGM City Center will feature a pool deck just that high in the sky, and after a few hours relaxing poolside, the private lobby lounge is a great place to grab a drink before exploring the fine-dining options at the hotel. If you get the shopping bug, you can browse the exclusive Harmon Las Vegas shops, and a treatment at the on-site spa is sure to ease any tensions. You can also rid yourself of stress at the modern fitness center, or treat yourself to a mini-makeover at the hotel's salon. If you feel like staying in for the day, you can arrange for an in-room spa treatment and follow it up with a savory meal from the in-room dining menu. From the peaceful hotel atrium to the comfortable confines found in each residence, the Harmon MGM City Center maintains an elite standard of excellence. An ideal urban retreat in an often hectic city, the Harmon Hotel will more than meet the needs of both the leisure and the business traveler.
