Hyde Lounge Bellagio joins the Las Vegas nightlife scene on one of the biggest party nights of the year: New Year’s Eve. The former Fontana Bar at the Bellagio is getting new life thanks to SBE, one of the hottest entertainment companies around.
Founded by young entrepreneur and entertainment impresario, Sam Nazarian, SBE has gained great success in the Las Angeles hotel, restaurant and nightlife scene. The original Hyde is located on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Its Las Vegas counterpart has the same chic, intimate atmosphere where people gather to unwind, hang out with friends and discover new music. The Hollywood Hyde was a fast favorite for celebrities, athletes and other high-profile personalities, the case for the next two locations in Mammoth Mountain, California, and at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The Bellagio is a natural place for the first Hyde Bar outside of Southern California. Once the Fontana Bar closed, the resort lost its elegant lounge. The Hyde Lounge Bellagio steps in and make things even better. It still will be a great place to stop for a drink before seeing the enchanting Cirque du Soleil show O or spending the day at the Bellagio pools.
The bar serves up a mix of classic drinks and artisan crafted cocktails, including the signature cucumber watermelon margarita. The Bellagio has a long wine list available, and the Hyde is no exception. If you’re hungry, you could order appetizers from the menu, which features the best of the Circo, the Bellagio’s Tuscan-inspired restaurant.
The new lounge is dressed with a palate of contemporary colors; the neutral color scheme features cream, tan and brown shades. This doesn’t mean dull, however. This gathering place features chic lighting, cool end tables and plenty of seating for more than 700 people. Interesting pieces of art are spread throughout the Hyde Lounge Bellagio, tying together the entire decor.
You’ll also find a DJ booth, because all night clubs need one, accented by a black-and-white fireplace crafted from reclaimed wood. It’s flanked by a retractable wall that opens to an outdoor patio and the famous Bellagio fountains. The rotating rosters of DJs includes both legends and up-and-comers, adding to the inviting atmosphere of Hyde Lounge Bellagio.
