Las
Vegas can be the definition of stimulus overload. Every
twist and turn through the city brings the promise of
more – more opportunities, more fun, more money, more
glamour. And that’s just the Las
Vegas strip, where you’ll find big hitters like the
Bellagio, Wynn,
Mandalay Bay and the
Venetian. Not much changes
when you venture away, whether it be downtown to try your
hand with the true professional gamblers, or over to the
Hard Rock, where rock stars and celebrities often converge.
The stereotypical images of Vegas preside over everything-
the famed welcome sign at the outset of the strip, the
shining eye of the Luxor, the recreation of the Eiffel
Tower at the Paris, endless buffets at every hotel,
and the Red Rock Mountains that provide the scenic backdrop
as new towers of condominiums that rise effortlessly above
the desert.
There’s always something to do in Las Vegas, from extravagant
nightlife in clubs like
Tryst or Tangerine,
to scenic resorts like the Red
Rock Casino and Spa, to five-star cuisine at a steakhouse
like DelMonico’s in the Venetian, to the endless shopping
offered at places like Caesars, the Bellagio or New York
New York. The city is known for its ability to provide,
and provide it does. Nowhere is there a city like Las
Vegas.
