Las Vegas Restaurants
Best Restaurants in Las Vegas | Vegetarian Restaurants in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is an exciting assault on the senses.  From the sights and the sounds to the glamour and the glitz, there is nothing quite like a Las Vegas vacation.  The Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas has arguably the best lineup of shows you’ll find in any one city and its casinos are the ultimate when it comes to gambling.  The Vegas nightlife goes long into the next morning and there is something for everyone when it comes to going out on the town.  To fuel your busy pace in Sin City, it is imperative that you break every now and then to see what the Las Vegas restaurants are serving up.  Once known mostly for its buffets, Las Vegas is positioning itself among the top cities in the world when it comes to dining.  Whether you are in the mood for a 5-star experience, or just want to grab something quick, the restaurants in Las Vegas have you more than covered.  And, for fans of the Vegas buffets, you can still find a nice collection of places to enjoy all you can eat.

You can effectively move yourself up and down the budget meter when it comes to the restaurants in Las Vegas.  If you want to save a little money on a meal, fast food won’t be your only option.  Arm yourself with a good Las Vegas restaurant guide, and you can find good deals on steak or prime rib for under $10, or fill up with a hearty bacon, egg and toast breakfast for under $5.  At most Las Vegas restaurants, your server will likely point out the specials on the menu, but you might be surprised if you ask about any specials not on the menu.  In the Hard Rock Hotel, for example, Mr Lucky’s 24/7 offers a cheap steak and shrimp special that you won’t find in print, and the Bougainvillea Café at the local favorite Terribles Hotel and Casino has a wallet-friendly T-bone Steak and beer special that isn’t listed.  On and off the Vegas Strip, some of the lesser known Casinos offer some of the best dinner and breakfast specials you will find among the Las Vegas restaurants.  These are the kind of affordably hard to believe meals you may have heard friends describing after returning from a Vegas trip.

If you are dining with the kids, or are looking for a fun dining atmosphere where you can take in some unique memorabilia, you might consider heading to one of the theme Las Vegas restaurants.  Such theme restaurant favorites as the Hard Rock Café , Planet Hollywood and the Rainforest Café can be found in Las Vegas, and you can keep up with all the latest sports scores at the ESPN Zone.  Motorcycle enthusiasts will enjoy the experience at the Harley Davidson Café, and Trekkies will find a welcome atmosphere at the Star Trek-inspired Quark’s Bar and Restaurant.  You are pretty much guaranteed a relaxing, good time at the Flamingo Hotel’s Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville restaurant, which features live nightly entertainment.  For tasty Southern fare, head to the House of Blues, where you can enjoy live jazz while dining on Cajun favorites.  On Sundays, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch is something to experience.  The live Gospel music is uplifting, and the buffet spread is sumptuous.  The Las Vegas buffets are also a good idea for families, or just about any group, large or small, as the selection you’ll find at them is bound to satisfy all tastes.  Most of the Vegas hotels and casinos offer at least one buffet restaurant, many of which can be enjoyed for $15 or less.  If you want to try some of the finer Las Vegas buffets, you can spend more to dine on succulent meat dishes and finish things off with a fancy dessert at the Bellagio Buffet, the Wynn Buffet or the Paris Buffet.  At the Rio Hotel and Casino, the gigantic Carnival World Buffet will amaze you with its international spread.  Vegetarians worry not, because the Vegas buffets have plenty of meat-less offerings, and are great if you are having trouble finding Vegetarian restaurants in Las Vegas.

At some point during your Las Vegas vacation, you will want to explore the Las Vegas fine dining options.  More and more celebrity chefs are putting their names on restaurants in Las Vegas, and while some of these establishments can get pretty pricy, it’s worth making room in the budget for at least one night out savoring the creations from a world-class chef.  You will notice that many a Las Vegas Restaurant guide will mention the upscale Joël Robuchon at the Mansion restaurant, which can be found at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.  Chef Robuchon has earned his place among the top chefs in the world, and if you eat at his MGM restaurant, you’ll know why.  Other top eateries you will likely find in your Las Vegas restaurant guide include the new Caesar’s Palace Guy Savoy restaurant, Andre’s downtown restaurant, Le Cirque at the Bellagio Hotel, and Wolfgang Puck’s Spago restaurant, which can be found at the Forum Shops of Caeasar’s Palace. Those who have a soft spot for Italian cuisine will find a nice array of Italian restaurants in Las Vegas, and Pucks Postrio restaurant offers unique Italian fare and other tastes.  The Postrio can be found at the Venetian.

Enjoying all that the Las Vegas restaurants have to offer is hard on just one visit, and if you are a food lover, the Las Vegas restaurants are bound to bring you back to Las Vegas in the future.  If you pick up a good Las Vegas restaurant guide, or research online guides and reviews, you can plan where to go before you even arrive.  But, if you haven’t made specific plans for where to eat in Las Vegas, that’s almost just as fine, as the diversity of choices abound.  Wherever you find yourself in Vegas, there will be a restaurant or café nearby.  One thing is for sure.  In Las Vegas, your diet is likely to suffer.  You’re on vacation, though, so go ahead and indulge yourself.
