Over the years, the palatial complex at the Tropicana Resort has become a major Vegas landmark. The 1,375 best-in-class Tropicana rooms are divided into the Paradise Tower and the Club Tower, which together include a Presidential Suite, Grand Suites, Lofts, Deluxe Rooms, and more. All of the rooms are bright, fresh, and comfortable. The color palette includes warm sunset shades, and natural light is abundant. The pool at the Tropicana has always been one of the best known pools in Vegas, and the updated version is no different—it was recently voted the best Las Vegas pool. The pool area covers a total of 4.2 acres, and the grounds feature private waterfalls, lush landscaping, and private lounge areas, all in the style of the resort's South Beach theme. Recliners and lounge chairs are located poolside, but if you’re looking to spend your full days at the pool, you can also rent a cabana, which provides chilled towers and a break from the sun, as well as fresh fruit and other snacks, and bottle service. There’s even a private island, Leblon Cove, located in the center of the pool, which includes its own lounge spots and a bar with excellent cocktails.

The casino at the Tropicana Resort Las Vegas features a wide variety of slot and table games, amid 50,000 square feet of gambling space. The new Bagatelle Beach & Nightclub, which kicks off its new venue Memorial Day 2012 is the site of daily entertainment and dining. The restaurant will be serving Mediterranean cuisine and champagne during the afternoons, with daybed lounges and beach activities. During the evenings, there will be poolside dining and diners have access to the indoor nightclub that featuring famous disc jockeys.
Tropicana Shows
Look for the lively finalist group from “America’s Got Talent,” Recycled Percussion, performing Thursdays through Tuesdays. For this great show, audience members receive a drumstick and instrument to accompany the group. The sizzling celebrity dancers of “Dancing With the Stars” begin a 12-week run at the Tropicana Las Vegas in mid-April. The Laugh Factory Las Vegas, located on the Mezzanine level of the Paradise Tower, showcases a line-up of hilarious comedians with daily shows. Famed magician Murray headlines daily shows beginning April 30. And the popular Mob Experience Las Vegas has re-launched with even more inside information on the country’s most notorious mobsters. There is also live entertainment in the Ambhar Lounge just off the hotel’s casino.
Biscayne
The Biscayne restaurant serves beautiful steaks and top-notch fish and seafood dishes, all prepared with a unique twist. There is also the Wine Wall, which features more than 500 bottles of fine wine, from Amarone to Zinfandel. Biscayne is open from 5 pm to 10 pm on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, and from 5 pm to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday; it is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
