Las Vegas Zip Line

Enjoying a Las Vegas zip line experience is something that Nevada visitors are encouraged to consider when looking to build their vacation itineraries. Within the pulsating city itself, there are zip lines that take riders on exciting trips through the lively Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. Zip lining between two major casino hotel towers is also an option, and as you might imagine, the views that these zip lines provide from on high are nothing short of spectacular.
Thrill seekers who are planning Las Vegas vacations can also find some exciting zip lines in nearby Boulder City, and such other experiences as Las Vegas space flights and Las Vegas skydiving sessions provide even more options for thrilling things to do. Also, there are several different Las Vegas roller coasters to ride, and thrill seekers certainly won’t want to overlook the rides at the Stratosphere. It’s little wonder they call Las Vegas the "Entertainment Capital of the World." When you add it all up, there is pretty much something for everyone in this Nevada hot spot.
Slotzilla at Fremont Street Experience

The Slotzilla Zip Line at Fremont Street Experience provides downtown Las Vegas visitors with an opportunity to add some extra excitement to their agendas. After being strapped into a protective harness that is attached to a zip line, Slotzilla passengers are launched from a 77-foot-high platform that looks like a giant slot machine and is found at the east side of the Fremont Street Experience. From there, they begin their exhilarating journeys, which see them soar 850 feet across the sky. Slotzilla offers zip line rides in the daytime and at night, and while both are fun, the nighttime rides come with the added advantage of being able to bask in the psychedelic effects of the Viva Vision canopy light show. Another option when it comes to the Slotzilla attraction at the Fremont Street Experience is to ride the Zoom Line. This line is 114 feet high and extends for 1,700 feet, or the entire length of the Fremont Street canopy. Zoom line riders are launched in a horizontal position, it should be noted, so they can do their best Superman impersonations. They also reach speeds of more than 35 miles per hour, which is quite exhilirating. The address for Slotzilla at Fremont Street Experience is 425 Fremont Street.
VooDoo Zip Line

The Rio casino hotel offers another Las Vegas zip line experience for thrill seekers to indulge in. Known as the VooDoo Zip Line, this zip line system links two of the hotel’s towers, sending riders on a more than 30-mile-per-hour ride 490 feet in the Vegas sky. Excellent views of The Strip are among the visual highlights, if you can keep your eyes open during the thrilling ride. To give you a better idea of what the VooDoo Zip Line entails, it runs between the VooDoo Steakhouse, which is set on the 50th floor of one of the Rio towers, and the 30-story tower next door. The rides take about 70 seconds, and prices go up after 5:30 PM due to the added splendor that comes with being able to see The Vegas Strip lit up in all its evening glory.
Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon

When thrillseekers aren’t zipping around on a Las Vegas zip line, they can venture outside of Las Vegas proper and try out the zip lines in nearby Boulder City. These zip lines are offered by an operation that is known as Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon, and the terrain that they pass over is that of the Red Mountains of the Mojave Desert. From the 3,800-foot launching site atop Red Mountain, riders can enjoy views of the Las Vegas Valley, Lake Mead, and the Eldorado Valley before embarking on their initial plunge. There are various runs to complete before it all comes to an end, and since each run has four parallel zip lines, riders can soar in the company of friends and family. Because the tour buses can only go so far up Red Mountain, a moderate hike is ultimately required to get to the Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon launching point. The guides can provide assistance with guest equipment during the hike, and guests can rest as often as they need along the way.
The address for Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon is 1512 Industrial Road, Boulder City, NV. Complimentary shuttle service from Las Vegas is available for those who wish to take advantage. This service must be requested when booking a tour. The shuttles depart from the Tour Bus Rotunda at the Excalibur. Guests are picked up one hour prior to their scheduled tour, and as long as they provide a valid contact number, the driver can call them in the event of a delay or special instructions.
