The imaginative minds behind Cirque du Soleil teamed up with Mandalay’s MGM Resorts International to create an innovative and engaging place to enjoy the nightlife. Guy Laliberte, the genius who founded Cirque, likens the nightclub experience to a laboratory where the past provides a springboard for creative happenings at the Mandalay Bay Resort nightclub.

The 38,000-square-foot venue combines theatrical style values with top-notch production values, and the coolest DJs come to create a new experience every night. Cirque du Soleil's first night club is easy to find at the resort, just steps away from the valet entrance on the west side of the resort.

There's no denying the influence Cirque du Soleil has had on the entertainment scene in Las Vegas and around the world. Since Laliberte and his group first performed in Montreal in 1984, more than 100 million people have seen the troupe make magic. Currently, more than 5,000 people—1,300 of them performers—bring these imaginative shows to life.

For their nightclub venture, Cirque's experts worked with one of the top names in nightclub management—the Light Group. Founder Andrew Sasson worked tirelessly to make sure every detail of the club was something special. Another top performer, music executive Amy Thomson jumped at the chance to join in the project. She brings years of experience planning arena shows, translating the experience for this most unique of nightclubs. Like sister club Daylight Beach Club, Light Las Vegas made the nightlife at Mandalay Bay really stand out.

With live music, DJs, and other innovative events, the schedule of events is packed at the Light Las Vegas. You can expect to find plenty of people dancing, LED light displays, and an atmosphere that isn't duplicated elsewhere.
