Triple 7 Brewery
Near the top of any Las
Vegas hotels list for good downtown locations is Main Street Station Hotel and Casino. Main
Street Station Casino is a casino, a hotel and brewery,
and one of its restaurants specializes in many of Nevada's
award-winning microbrews. It's part of the free
and famous Fremont
Street Experience in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas.
There are ten casino hotels that are part of this experience, so guests of Main Street
Station Las Vegas have access to all the great shopping,
casino excitement and restaurants provided by its neighbors.
Part of this is Neonopolis, with its historic old Vegas
neon signs and 14 movie screens.
Your first impression of the Victorian-style Main Street Hotel and Casino is its lovely lobby paneled in rich woods and resembling an Old West hotel. Displayed throughout the lobby are exquisite Victorian era collectibles in antique sideboards and glass-fronted cabinets.
Main Street Station Rooms
The downtown-area hotels are generally more attractively priced than the properties on the Las Vegas Strip, and the Main Street Station Las Vegas is no exception. Nonetheless, it offers nicely furnished rooms with the choice of a deluxe king bed or two queen beds. A plus here is the little sitting area with two easy chairs next to large windows and the desk and writing area in each room. The spacious suites have a living room or parlor area separated from the king room by stylish room dividers, in-room bar and marble bath with upscale fixtures. Both suites and room amenities include a hairdryer; iron and ironing board; telephone; clock radio; color cable television with in-room movies and in-room safe. Non-smoking rooms are available and there is free wireless Internet in the lobby, another plus since most other Las Vegas hotels charge a rather hefty fee.
Main Street Station
The Main Street Station Las Vegas has a smallish rooftop
swimming pool that offers a good view even when you're
not taking a dip. If you want to travel further afield,
walk across the bridge to sister property, the California
Hotel and Casino, for complimentary shuttle transportation
to the Las Vegas Strip and another sister property, Sam's
Town. There are three dining venues, including an
elegant bar and grill patterned on the old Pullman railroad
cars, a microbrewery and a saloon style garden courtyard
that offers that standard of Las
Vegas restaurants-the sumptuous all you can
eat buffet spread. The Social Club at Main Street Station
Hotel and Casino is available for meetings, events and
catered banquets for as many as 160 people
Main Street Station Casino
And, of course, there's gaming. The Main Street Station Casino maintains its Victorian theme all the way into its 28,000 square foot casino. It sports the latest in live action tables, video and reel machines and slots. The Main Street Station Hotel and Casino is part of the Boyd Gaming group of casinos, which also has gaming properties in Atlantic
City, Illinois, Mississippi, Louisiana and Indiana. Additionally, the Fremont and California are both downtown sister properties of the Main Street Station Casino as well as Boyd Gaming properties. You can earn "B Connected" points at all of these casinos and spend them at any of the others. The points are redeemable for free slots play, discounts at property restaurants, trips and more.
