CBS Television City Research Center

If you are a TV junkie, this is the attraction for you. This attraction opens at 10 A.M. and usually closes by 10 P.M. Throughout the day, you will get to see a variety of different screenings, where you an place your opinion on the quality of the show. While it isn't a studio job that makes or breaks the show, you will get the opportunity to play a small part in the process. If you like watching TV, or want to see what might just be a new hit, this activity is for you. Admission is free, simply pick up your tickets and register, and you can take part in the screenings.

Clubs, Restaurants and Shopping

In addition to the two primary exhibits, there are a wide variety of clubs, restaurants and clubs that you can visit which include Seablue, Craftsteak and Pearl restaurants, the Studio 54 nightclub and the Studio Walk, which is MGM Grand's primary shopping promenade.

Cique du Soleil - Ka

While in Las Vegas, many people take the opportunity to see the show Ka, which is staged at the MGM Grand. Since making its debut in 2005, this Cirque du Soleil offering has gotten plenty of attention. Among the reasons why are its highly technical aspects and its all out lavish production. In relation to the story, it is about “Imperial Twins” who are separated when their palace is attacked. Both of the twins subsequently embark on arduous journeys in an attempt to find one another and retain their palace. It is very much a story of good versus evil and a production that is sure to impress on many different levels. Show times are 7 pm and 9:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Cirque du Soleil also offers six other shows in Las Vegas that are of high repute, it should be noted. They include “O,” Mystere, The Beatles Love, Zumanity, Criss Angel Believe, and Viva ELVIS. These shows are hosted by other casino hotels.
