Planet Hollywood Shops

While stores don't exist under the management of the resort, Planet Hollywood shopping is possible thanks to the Miracle Mile Las Vegas and makes up one of the best sections of shopping in Las Vegas, joining Caesars Palace and Ballys. Planet Hollywood shopping at the Miracle Mile Shops is found adjacent to the Planet Hollywood hotel, in a mall filled with more than 170 separately-owned shops known as the Miracle Mile Las Vegas. The name for the Miracle Mile Las Vegas is meant to represent the more than 1.2 miles of space covered by the shops at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. The Miracle Mile is a perfect place to go for hotel guest who may have forgotten something, or for anyone looking to do some fun shopping. The mall itself is open from 10am until 10pm, although individual store hours may vary.
Guests at the Planet Hollywood shopping at the Miracle Mile Las Vegas will find some of the biggest names in fashion. The idea of Planet Hollywood shopping is to provide guests access to shops that they may not have access to at home. Shops in the Miracle Mile include Urban Outfitters, Polynesian-Fusion, Trader Vic's, Ben Sherman, Quiksilver, Marciano, the United Colors of Benetton and Sisley and many, many more.
In an attempt to match the décor of Planet Hollywood shops to the décor of the Planet Hollywood lobby and hotel, the Miracle Mile Las Vegas shopping mall also features textured glass walls, bright lighting and a modern feel. The LED lighting found in the Planet Hollywood lobby will also be found here at the mall, as well as streaming video and a layout meant to make Planet Hollywood shopping a pleasant experience for folks without leaving them feeling crowded while they shop.
For travelers used to frequenting the Desert Passage, the experience will likely be completely different. The shops at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas are now totally de-themed. The Middle Eastern design of the previous shopping mall has been replaced with a more modern, streamlined design.
Currency for shopping in Las Vegas is US Dollars. Travelers in need of cash will have no trouble finding ATMs at the Miracle Mile shopping center as well as throughout the casinos and hotels of Las Vegas. For travelers coming to Las Vegas from outside the United States, it is a good idea to be familiar with what you can bring in and take out of the city if you plan to do a lot of shopping. If you are 21 years old, feel free to bring (duty free) no more than a liter of wine, 200 cigarettes, $100 in gifts, and 100 cigars, although those cigars may not be of Cuban origin. While there are different regulations for what you can bring back into your home country depending on where that is, Las Vegas itself encourages travelers to shop until they drop, and at the airport travelers will find a host of duty-free shops selling items like liquor, perfume, clothing and more totally duty-free.
