Platinum Hotel Las Vegas

Platinum Hotel Las Vegas

The Platinum Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas has everything the main strip hotels have – a giant pool, hundreds of spacious rooms, a handful of fancy restaurants, a relaxing spa and dazzling views of the city. What you won’t find here, however, is what makes Sin City famous – gambling. As a non-gaming, non-smoking establishment, the Platinum Hotel Las Vegas is seeking to set themselves apart from the other accommodations in the city by stressing luxury over the pursuit of wealth. Thus, the amenities found at the Platinum Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas strive to be the best in town, setting a new standard for comfort and opulence, catering primarily to business travelers, Nevada residents (who receive a number of discounts that out-of-state visitors are barred from) and those who want the Vegas experience without being surrounded by blackjack tables.

Only the second condo hotel to opens its doors in the city, the Platinum Hotel is the newest kid on the block, greeting its first guests on October 25 of 2006. Just a block and a half from The Bellagio and Caesars Palace, the Platinum Hotel Las Vegas keeps you right near all the action. Those who stay here will also be rewarded by a nice change of pace – a hotel that doesn’t have to focus on running a casino floor can instead spend its time doting on the traveler. And you’ll find a more relaxing atmosphere awaiting you at the end of your hectic nights out on the town, perfect for those who love Vegas but want a vaguely secluded place to rest their heads.

Every room comes fully equipped with everything one would expect from a Las Vegas condo hotel. Found in each of the Las Vegas Platinum Hotel’s 255 suites are:

  • Plasma screen TVs
  • Private terraces with exquisite views of the strip
  • Fireplaces
  • Whirlpool baths

To prove they are business-friendly, there are acres of convention space, unlimited Wi-Fi and a 24 hour business center on the premises.

But who wants to work when you the main draws of the Platinum Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas involve premium relaxation. The spa itself is reason enough to stay here – there are a number of special treatments that can be found here, along with the Platinum Royal Indulgence massage, which will leave guests singing the praises of the hotel for weeks to come. A steam room, pool, Jacuzzi and anything else you can think of is also found in the spa, located on the fourth floor, away from it all.

When you are done there, you can head downstairs to one of the fine dining establishments below, or instead take a trip to the seventeenth floor, where you’ll find Misora – a lounge found on the golden terraced rooftop.

Whatever it is you want from a Vegas vacation, you can find at the Platinum Hotel Las Vegas, or mere steps away. The condo hotel is still a rarity in the city, but with the interest that this hotel has garnered (despite its extremely short lifespan), the Platinum could be a glimpse into the city’s future - more condo hotels are already in past the planning stages, ready to rise up into the cityscape before the end of the decade.
