One of the charms of Las Vegas is the fact that many of the stores, from clothing to accessories, are open late every day. Shopping in Las Vegas

* Where to go Shopping in Las Vegas

Miracle Mile

This massive 475,000 square foot shopping mall surrounds Planet Hollywood. Sporting over one hundred different malls, you will be able to find something that suits you or anyone you plan on shopping for. While not open 24 hours a day, the hours are designed to allow even night owls a chance to enjoy some shopping.

Fashion Show Mall

For those who love clothing, this is the place for you. With two million square feet of fashion shopping space, there is no place like it on the Strip. This mall has recently undergone massive alterations, giving you the newest and best establishment for clothing anywhere in Nevada.

Boulevard Mall

This mall, sporting 1.3 million square feet of floor space, is one of the largest in Las Vegas. This mall possesses a wide variety of different stores, letting the fanatical shopper get his or her fill in one place.

The Canal Shoppes

This mall is located within the Venetian Hotel. Lined with the Canal and drifting Gondolas, this area is picturesque while providing shoppers with plenty of unique stores in the Italian tradition.

Caesar's Forum Shops

Offering a wide range of shops, everyone is sure to find smething at the Forums Shops in Caesars Palace Las Vegas. You'll shop through the streets of replicated architecture and the amazing vaulted ceiling with a painted sky.

Wynn Esplanade

From Chanel to Louis Vuitton, you'll find it at the Wynn Esplanade. The Wynn Esplanade is retail shopping at its best. It's no surprise to find these high-end shops at the Wynn Las Vegas.

* Best times for Shopping in Las Vegas

Las Vegas Shopping customarily occurs during mid-afternoon to evening. As the desert is unmercifully hot during the day, many shoppers retreat into the air conditioned complexes to have a day full of shopping without having to battle the heat of the desert. While some malls are open till midnight, or even all night long, you will want to make certain that you are prepared to go shopping when the weather is too hot for venturing outside. As many of the malls have over a hundred stores, you will be able to spend plenty of time indoors so you can avoid the heat outside.

Las Vegas Shopping Tips

1: Use Traveler's Checks, Credit Cards and Bank cards. As all stores accept at least one of these methods, you can enjoy shopping without carrying a lot of cash on you. While Vegas isn't one of the most crime ridden places in the world, it is advisable to be prudent with how much cash you carry.

2: Make plenty of trips to your hotel. As the desert gets so hot during the day, you will want to make certain that you are not attempting to carry too much back with you under the hot noon sun. If you need to venture long distances outside with a lot of bags, hire a Taxi so you can be assisted by the hotel staff to get your goods in air conditioning.

3: Drink lots of water. Shopping can be exhausting, and you do not want to dehydrate yourself.
