Las Vegas Club Hotel

The Las Vegas Club Hotel in downtown Las Vegas has closed. Check out our list of Las Vegas hotels.

The Las Vegas Club Hotel is one of the ten casino hotels (also see the Golden Nugget, Main Street Station, and Golden Gate, among others) that are part of the dazzling Fremont Street Experience, one of the most exciting Las Vegas attractions. As befits its proximity to Neonopolis, the historic Vegas Club Las Vegas was the first casino to sport a neon sign. Way back in 1930, it was only the second neon sign in all of Las Vegas. While here, you can visit Neonopolis to marvel at its collection of historic, rare and unique antique neon signs. While the Fremont Street Experience and downtown Las Vegas are both entertainment venues on their own, the Vegas Club Hotel and Casino has one of the city's popular nightclubs as well as a showroom with a Rat Pack tribute show.

As a guest at Las Vegas Club Hotel you will also be welcome at their next door sister property, the Plaza Hotel and Casino. This is where you'll find The Dome and the Ultra Sports Lounge with cheap beer and daily drink specials offered while you indulge in a modern race and sports book with plenty of wide screen televisions and live betting stations. And, the Plaza also offers that reliable Vegas standby, the sumptuous buffet, a beauty salon and a rooftop swimming pool with great views. Other Vegas Club Hotel and Casino property amenities include high speed wireless Internet access for a fee and both self and valet parking if your transportation to Vegas is by automobile.

The Las Vegas Club Hotel offers more than 400 comfortable and affordable standard and deluxe rooms as well as very spacious and nicely appointed penthouse suites. You can get accommodations furnished with one or two king or queen beds. For dining venues, you'll find quick and easy snacks and romantic gourmet dining. The Great Moments Café is on the Hall of Fame walkway, and offers steaks and a variety of gourmet dishes at reasonable prices. The Plaza Food Court offers everything from McDonald's to Seattle's Best Coffee. There's also plenty of shopping to be enjoyed in this Downtown Las Vegas area. If you want to get hitched while staying at Vegas Club Las Vegas you'll find access to one of the city's wedding chapels, and catering can be arranged for meetings, conventions and banquets.

The Vegas Club Las Vegas is also about gaming, and there's plenty of gaming to be had in its casino and next door. The Vegas Club Hotel and Casino has some of the latest, most innovative slots and video machines on the main casino floor, everything from Wheel of Fortune and Deal or No Deal to Megabucks. At the Plaza, there are daily no limit Texas Hold 'Em tournaments just like the ones you see on television. The advantage here is that you're not playing against pros. You'll also find a variety of table games including Liberal Blackjack (some say the most liberal blackjack rules in town) and Three Card Poker. Join the "free" Vegas Play Club and you'll also become eligible for invitations to special events in Las Vegas, tournaments and complimentary rooms and food.
