Wynn Convention Center Map
What is now the old Desert Inn golf course behind the Wynn Resort on Las Vegas Boulevard
will soon be the Wynn Convention Center - a new take
on convention centers done in true fabulous Wynn style.
The Wynn Convention Center will be more than 1.5 million
square feet, making it one of the largest convention centers
in the United States, and continues pushing Las Vegas
ahead of such cities as Chicago in terms of convention
center square footage.
Sandwiched between the existing Sands Expo Center and the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Wynn Convention Center comes along with two new hotel towers providing over 5,000 more rooms. Both the new hotel rooms and the convention center are sure to provide the upscale touches and high level of service expected from Wynn properties. A focus on a non-urban environment in the convention center means beautiful open spaces lushly decorated. Setting the Wynn Exhibition Hall above and apart already are plans for an underground tram system running between the hotels and meeting spaces, and a large lake with fountains, echoing the Bellagio Hotel and Casino built by Steve Wynn in 1998. Beyond aesthetic touches, the Wynn Convention Center strives to close up the space between the hotel areas and the convention halls so attendees don't need to walk far to get to their events.
Convention-goers can't always be in their conventions, though, and this is Las Vegas, after all. Thankfully, the Wynn Exhibition Hall provides an excellent location for exploring the Strip. Within quick jaunt from the convention space are both the Wynn Resort and its sister hotel Encore. Between these two, you can find everything from fine dining to casual bites (check out the deli at the Wynn) to world-class shows to gambling. What else could you possibly need? Well, really, if you're here anyway you might as well see the rest of the Vegas Strip. Keep walking past the Wynn and you will soon find yourself in the midst of all Vegas has to offer from Treasure Island all the way to Mandalay Bay. Endless options for dining and entertainment and gaming await you.
Designed with both beauty and functionality in mind, the Wynn Exhibition Hall means a more comfortable and appealing convention space as well as a fantastic location on the Las Vegas Strip.
