There are nine lifts total that service the 72 trails spread out over 178 acres at the Cannon Mountain Ski Area. The lifts not only provide prompt service, allowing you to get back onto the slopes in short order, but they also offer amazing vistas of the snow covered White Mountains and the gorgeous surrounding landscape. One of the great things about skiing or snowboarding at this resort, or essentially any other in the state of New Hampshire, is that you will be within easy driving distance of many other fine and reputable resorts. Loon Mountain, Bretton Woods, and Waterville Valley are three resorts that are all less than twenty miles away from the Cannon Mountain Ski Area.

The Franconia Notch area features tons of vacation rentals including townhouses and two- to six-bedroom condos. The Indian Head Resort and the Comfort Inn and Suites are also very close to the resort and many times work with the Cannon Mountain Ski Resort on offering patrons discounts and incentive deals.
