For intermediate skiers and snowboarders, a total of 64 percent of the ski runs are suitable, and 20 percent remain for the advanced and expert riders. The longest ski run, Bear Claw, is two-and-a-half miles long.

Another great thing about going to Loon Mountain in New Hampshire is that you will literally will be just miles from a variety of other ski resorts. Waterville Valley and Cannon Mountain are just eight miles away, Bretton Woods is seventeen miles away, and you only have to go twenty miles to reach Attitash and Bear Peak. Snowboarders are permitted on all of the skiable terrain. There is an amazing terrain park with a superpipe and other activities such as tubing and Nordic skiing as well. You can rent equipment for alpine boarding and skiing onsite.
